The Galleila Band Is Frozen in Punk Hazard

  • Jarul Spoke Of A Legendary Group Of Shipwrights
  • The Shipwrights Are Frozen In Punk Hazard

One Piece chapter 1154 delved into some big mysteries, but none was as big as the one concerning the Galleila Band. This group was talked about by none other than Jarul, the oldest in the world. According to Jarul, the Galleila Band is a legendary order from Elbaf, said to be Warhammer-armed powerful Shipbuilders. Their thanks consist of about 100 giants and Ancient Giants. Even to Harald, they're a myth, which means that they existed a long time ago in the One Piece world.

Are you speaking of the hammer-wielding ruffian shipwrights? — Harald

Jarul went on to mention that they traveled far and wide, and they consistently sent letters back to Elbaf. The last letter was to Jarul himself, and they said they'd all been captured. Jarul also goes on to state that the Giant kind faced a big enemy in the past, and that he's also heard tales of a frozen band of giants somewhere in the world. All this ties back to Punk Hazard.

The Galleila Band Is In Punk Hazard

While fans don't realize it, these Shipwrights have already made an appearance in the Punk Hazard arc of One Piece. In One Piece chapter 660, fans saw Nami and Chopper go to the frozen room where dozens of giants seemed to have been frozen. They're most certainly the same Galleila Band that went missing.

The Giants From Galleila Will Be Thawed Out in One Piece's Final Saga

The Galleila Band Will Fix The Noah

While Nami and Chopper thought the Galleila Band was dead, they're actually just frozen. This was likely done by the previous user of the Hie Hie no Mi. Fans have previously seen frozen individuals being thawed out later, such as Saul. It is entirely possible that the Galleila Band will be thawed out as well, and when that happens, they will return. They will hold tremendous knowledge for the whole world. More importantly, they will be the ones to rebuild the Noah.

At the end of the Fishman Island arc, the Sea Kings spoke of some people who could rebuild the Noah, but lamented that this was now a different time. Clearly, the implication is that Galleila Band built the Noah, and most likely Pluton as well. They will eventually go to Fishman Island and rebuild the Noah to bring the Fishmen to the surface.

One Piece Chapter 1156 will be out this week. As usual, One Piece is going to drop on Sunday. In Japan, One Piece drops at 12AM JST on Monday. However, the vast majority of international readers will see the chapter available on August 3. The official release date of One Piece Chapter 1155 is August 3, 2025. Fans can read the chapter for free on Manga Plus.
