One Piece's Loki flashback keeps giving fans one major shock after another, and it is quite clear that this trend will continue over the next few weeks. With a lot of attention being turned to the legendary Rocks D. Xebec, fans knew that some major revelations about the lore of the One Piece world will be made and in One Piece chapter 1159, that is exactly what happened.
One Piece: Oda Officially Reveals Luffy's Endgame Romantic Partner
Luffy's romantic endgame is a huge mystery, but Oda already hinted at it in One Piece.
Oda went on to reveal a legendary pirate from 800 years ago who was so strong that even Imu feared him. This pirate, named Davy D. Jones, existed during the Void Century and was such a figure that even Rocks D. Xebec worshipped him. While Davy D. Jones most likely died long ago in One Piece, fans know that he still has a major role to play in the story of One Piece moving forward, and fans absolutely cannot wait to see what Oda does with this character, especially since his descendant, Blackbeard, is alive and well.

Imu Feared The Davy D. Clan 800 Years Ago
- The Davy Clan was wiped out
- Rocks was a survivor of the Davy Clan
In One Piece chapter 1159, Oda dropped a major lore bomb on the fans, and this one concerns the Void Century as well as the ancestors of Rocks D. Xebec. As was revealed earlier in the flashback, Rocks D. Xebec is the father of Blackbeard, whose real name is Marshall D. Teach. Teach was born after Rocks fell in love with a woman and is his last living legacy. But, at the same time, Oda also revealed other important bits of information about the history of the world to the fans. In the Loki flashback, Oda went on to reveal to the fans that Rocks D. Xebec was a worshipper of Davy Jones. At this point, fans had already assumed that Davy Jones was some legend from the Void Century, but a confirmation was pending.

Now, Oda has officially revealed the secrets of Davy Jones. As revealed by Rocks, Davy Jones, whose full name was Davy D. Jones, lived during the Void Century. Rocks D. Xebec is his direct descendant, and he too belongs to the Davy Clan. His real name is Davy D. Xebec. Rocks was born on God Valley, which means this legendary island must've been the home of Davy D. Jones as well.
One Piece: Oda Officially Confirms Zoro's Final Transformation
Zoro has a huge power up coming, and Oda has already confirmed what it is in One Piece.
Imu is particularly wary of Davy D. Jones. It seems that Rocks's real reason for wanting to overthrow Imu is because of the persecution that the Davy Clan faced. Imu tried to kill Rocks with all their might, and right now, they're doing everything possible to get Blackbeard killed. Without a doubt, Imu is scared of the power of the Davy Clan of One Piece and Davy D. Jones put fear into them.

Blackbeard's True Name Is Davy D. Teach
He Inherited The Will Of Davy D. Jones
Blackbeard is the only living survivor of the Davy Clan right now. His real name, as expected, is Davy D. Jones. It is increasingly likely that Blackbeard only wants to fulfil the dreams of Davy D. Jones. Just as Rocks was a worshipper of Davy D. Jones, it seems that Blackbeard is as well, given that they share the same goal of becoming the King of the World. Davy D. Teach has inherited the Will of Davy Jones, and fans know for a fact that he will only become more important in the coming arcs of the story.
