One Piece's Elbaf arc has set up the perfect stage for the Straw Hat Pirates to grow stronger. Right now, the country is absolutely overrun with Demons created by Imu, and massive threats rule it. Imu, being the strongest, leads the line, while on his side, there are Dorry and Brogy, and of course, other demons as well.

Zoro has a new power-up in store in One Piece, and it all has to do with Haki.
To make things worse, two more Holy Knights are currently in Elbaf, those being Killingham and Sommers. Clearly, there are enough enemies for the Straw Hat Pirates to take on, but some would need major power-ups to get past such enemies. Curiously enough, one Straw Hat might just get a Devil Fruit ability.

In the world of One Piece, Devil Fruits are the primary power system. Most of the top-level fighters in the world possess a Devil Fruit. Of course, there are exceptions, such as Roger, Rocks, Shanks, Garp, and a few others, but more likely than not, a top-tier will have a powerful Devil Fruit at their disposal. Within the Straw Hats, Luffy has the Hito Hito no Mi, Model: Nika, which enables him to fight at the top of his powers.

Meanwhile, there are also others, such as Robin, Brook, and Chopper, who also have Devil Fruits. While a good number of the Straw Hats have Devil Fruits already, it is actually rather strange that none of them have ever come across a Devil Fruit while adventuring together. Perhaps, Elbaf will change that, especially since one Straw Hat is in desperate need of a big power-up.

If there is one Straw Hat that desperately needs to get stronger in Elbaf, it is Usopp. Every fan believes that Elbaf is going to be a very important arc for him. But, at the moment, he has been nothing but disappointing. Eventually, however, Usopp will have to get stronger and that is where a Devil Fruit comes in.

Say Hello To The New Conqueror's Haki User Of The Straw Hat Pirates In One Piece
A new character among the Straw Hat pirates is getting conqueror's haki, and it will be major in One Piece.
Now, fans might not like the idea of Usopp eating a Devil Fruit. After all, he is a sniper and a Devil Fruit doesn't necessarily complement him very well. But, one only needs to look at characters like Van Augur, who do a brilliant job of mixing both styles.
In Usopp's case, he wouldn't eat the Devil Fruit himself, but it would actually be his weapon, Kuro Kabuto. While Pop Greens have powered it up already, Kuro Kabuto will need to be made even stronger, and if it eats a Devil Fruit, it will be unstoppable.
Usopp's Kabuto Could Evolve Even Further
If this happens in Elbaf, then Usopp will most likely be able to defeat some high-ranking enemy, such as a member of the Holy Knights, or perhaps a Domi Reversi’d Giant. One way or another, Usopp needs a Devil Fruit or he will be lagging behind all the others.
