This article contains spoilers from One Piece's Elbaf Arc.
One Piece is finally giving the fans a look at the many legends of the world that they yearned for, thanks to the Loki flashback. After years of waiting for what could be the single greatest flashback, Oda has finally delivered greatly, and in doing so, introduced a bunch of monsters to the fans in their very prime. The God Valley flashback has been absolutely sensational so far, and it goes without saying that Oda lined up the mightiest of the era on the island years ago. While not all of them were in their primes as fighters, it is quite clear that they were quite capable fighters.
One Piece: Oda Has Officially Confirmed The Characters With Joy Boy Level Haki
Joy Boy had insane haki in One Piece. These characters have haki similar to, or just as good as his.
Garp, for example, was already a monster strong enough to use advanced Conqueror's Haki and make even the likes of Whitebeard avoid battle with him. Aside from him, Oda has now officially confirmed another user of the Immortality countering Haki, and it is none other than the right arm of the future Pirate King, Silvers Rayleigh. Fans already knew that Rayleigh had the power of Conqueror's Haki Coating, but now, it appears that this ability to damage the immortals of the world has been confirmed by Oda himself.
Silvers Rayleigh Can Officially Bypass Immortality With Haki
Rayleigh Has Tremendous Haki
- Rayleigh is equal to Scopper Gaban
- Both Gaban and Rayleigh are monsters
One Piece fans know very well that Silvers Rayleigh, also known as the Dark King, was an absolute monster of strength. In the Elbaf arc, Oda went out of his way to confirm to the fans that Rayleigh did indeed stand on the same level as the Pirate King, as well as Scopper Gaban. These three of the Roger Pirates were said to be incredibly powerful and in a league of their own.
I will send you to the pits of hell myself, Red Spider Lily! — Silvers Rayleigh to Sommers
When the Holy Knights attacked Elbaf, Gaban was the first one to show the ability to damage the immortals without them regenerating. He accomplished this with the usage of Advanced Conqueror's Haki. So far, it is unclear what property exactly helped him achieve this, but it most certainly was his Haki, as he clarified himself. This advanced Haki application has now been confirmed for Rayleigh as well, or so it seems.
I don't have the time to waste on the likes of you. — Scopper Gaban to Sommers
October 5 Will Be A Sad Day For One Piece Anime Fans
October 5 is set to be a terrible start to the month for One Piece fans as the anime heads towards an extended break.
In One Piece chapter 1161, Oda officially had Rayleigh clash with Saint Sommers in God Valley. This clash of the two monsters was rather short as Rayleigh blew him away to the depths of the underworld with a single strike. Of course, Sommers isn't dead, but Rayleigh being able to hurt him with Haki means that he made use of the same advanced-level Haki as Gaban.
Gaban and Rayleigh Can Injure The Holy Knights
Both Gaban and Rayleigh Destroyed Sommers
Since Scopper Gaban can injure and kill the Holy Knights, it is no surprise to know that Rayleigh can do that as well. Gaban are Rayleigh are on the same level of strength, though Gaban believes he's the Number 2 of the Roger Pirates after Roger himself. Either way, all three of them are strong enough to kill Holy Knights and counter regeneration. Rayleigh being a user of the new Immortality-countering Haki isn't a surprise at all, but it definitely helps when the author officially confirms something. Hopefully, fans will see more exciting battles from God Valley in the upcoming chapter of the story.
One Piece Chapter 1162 will be out this week. As usual, One Piece is going to drop on Sunday. In Japan, One Piece drops at 12AM JST on Monday.
