This article contains spoilers from One Piece's Elbaf Arc.

One Piece is currently in the final saga, where Oda is slowly revealing the strongest characters of the story. Oda has been doing a brilliant job at introducing mighty monsters that he has been saving for all these years one by one. Often, the strongest characters in the One Piece world wield powerful weaponry, and the Elbaf arc of One Piece has shown quite a few of these incredible weapons to the fans.

Undoubtedly, the strongest weapon of them all that was revealed to the fans in the Elbaf arc is Loki's Ragnir, which is a mighty warhammer, the strength of which knows absolutely no bounds. Ragnir will play a massive role in the future of One Piece, and fans will definitely see it shine as one of the strongest weapons of all time.

When it comes to powerful weapons in the One Piece world, fans often turn their eyes to the graded blades. After all, most of the One Piece characters who rely on weapons are swordsmen. Oda often puts meticulous details into the powerful weaponry that these monsters wield. Fans know very well that in the world of One Piece, there are multiple grade blades, with the 12 Supreme Grade being the strongest. Those with weapons of the Supreme Grade possess incredible strength. At the same time, Supreme Grade weapons themselves can sustain incredible damage as well as hold on to higher levels of Haki.

Similarly, there are the 21 Great Great Blades and, of course, also the 50 Grade Blades. The One Piece world also features some other weapons such as guns and other forms of projectiles, but none receive as much focus as the graded blades.

Against all odds, Oda changed the formula in the Elbaf arc of One Piece and introduced one of the coolest and unique weapons to ever exist, and this weapon is none other than Ragnir. Ragnir is a warhammer, and given that the story is currently focusing on Elbaf, which is heavily inspired by Norse mythology, it makes perfect sense for Ragnir to be a part of the story here.

Loki's Ragnir Is A New Yonko Level Weapon

  • Ragnir Can Sustain Conqueror's Haki Blows

Ragnir was first introduced to the fans in the Elbaf arc after the introduction of Loki. When Loki was first revealed, the warhammer was visible on his back, but it was not introduced to the fans yet. It was only after Loki was partially freed from his chains that Ragnir was introduced by Oda. At the time, Loki clearly stated that he was the only one capable of wielding Ragnir, meaning that the weapon had chosen him personally.

King Harald passed after a vicious battle with Loki. What you are seeing are the scars of that fight. Loki is strong for sure but King Harald was also known to be a Great Warrior in his own right. All this destruction was inevitable. The only surviving members in the castle were Chief Jarul and Loki that day. — Rodo on the Battle in Aurust Castle, 14 Years Ago

Then, fans saw Loki wield Ragnir to strike the Adam Tree and this generated a bolt of lightning that set off a fire in Elbaf. The implication here was that Ragnir has the power to generate lightning bolts, but whether that is true or not remains to be seen. However, what fans know for a fact is that Ragnir is incredibly powerful.

In One Piece Chapter 1170, fans got a proper look at the strength of Ragnir. In this chapter, Loki was tasked with eating the legendary Devil Fruit of Elbaf before Harald lost all control. However, to do that, he had to get past Ragnir. It was revealed that Ragnir is actually a squirrel. In simpler words, the hammer has eaten a Mythical Zoan type fruit and this allowed it to transform itself into a squirrel at will. Ragnir could also move at full will, and its battle with Loki was absolutely shocking.

Much to the surprise of the fans, Ragnir was able to match Loki in battle and even overwhelm him. In fact, even after Loki infused his attacks with Conqueror's Haki, they seemed to have no effect on Ragnir.

It is a known fact that Ragnir Loki is a monster in terms of strength. For context, when Ragnir fought Loki, the latter was able to infuse Conqueror's Haki into his weapon and he also carried the blood of the Ancient Giants. He was easily above the level of the Admirals and close to the Yonko level. And yet, Ragnir was able to hold its own against him and even make him run, as well as shatter his hammer. The true power of Ragnir is absolutely sublime.

I am the Sun God enshrined in the legends of this land. You will not speak to me without permission, human. I consider myself the strongest alive in the Lands. This is the Warland, Elbaf's Kingdom of Violence. The most powerful nation in the world which once lived and breathed warfare. And I'm the Sun God who brings the world to an end, Loki! — Loki introducing himself in the Elbaf Arc.

Perhaps the biggest strength feat that Ragnir has shown so far is the fact that in a head-on clash with Loki, where the latter utilized his full power and even infused Conqueror's Haki into his weapon, Ragnir was able to shatter Loki's weapon, and that's absolutely shocking. Of course, Ragnir took some damage itself, given that it had spiral eyes, but it wasn't even close to being beaten.

It wouldn't be a stretch to say that this is a Yonko-level weapon that can actually even fight any of the Yonko by itself. Of course, Ragnir probably won't be able to defeat any of the Yonko, but the fact is that it is durable enough to withstand Yonko-level attacks and strong enough to deal deadly damage to even the Emperors.

Ancient Weapons Are Stronger Than Ragnir

The only weapons in One Piece that are stronger than Ragnir are the Ancient Weapons. As fans know, Ancient Weapons were created by the Ancient Kingdom long ago during the Void Century. These weapons are basically a ticking time bomb as they can essentially destroy the entire world. Three Ancient Weapons are known in One Piece as Pluton, Poseidon, and Uranus.

  • With Pluton, one can erase an island with a single blast. It is a warship built on Water 7 by the famous shipwrights that existed back then, and recent context attached to Elbaf seems to suggest that the Galleila Band, a group of fearsome Elbaf giants, were responsible for its construction.
  • Poseidon lives in Fishman Island and she can control the Sea Kings and sink the entire world.
  • Finally, there is Uranus, which can erase just about any piece of land anywhere in the blink of an eye. Currently, it seems to be in Imu's possession.
