One Piece is currently in the Elbaf arc, where the likes of the Holy Knights have officially made their move. With the Warland being threatened by the Holy Knights and now, also Imu, it is imperative for the Straw Hat Pirates to engage them in battle. While this makes for an exciting clash, it also confuses some fans. Naturally, some fans are wondering how it is possible that a character as strong as Imu is the villain of the Elbaf arc, even if it isn't on their own body.

Luffy will be defeated in One Piece. And this defeat could be happening very soon.
Imu is, of course, not going to be taken down here, but Oda showing Imu's cards here already prepares them for being the next main villain of the One Piece world, and this makes one wonder if they truly are the final villain of the story. Perhaps, the final villain isn't Imu, but someone even more dangerous.

If there's one thing that has been made abundantly clear by Oda in the Elbaf arc, it is that Imu is the strongest in the whole One Piece series. With their incredible Conqueror's Haki, and more importantly, their overpowered display of magical abilities, Imu dominated even strong monsters in Elbaf. Fans are fully aware of the fact that Imu is unbeatable right now, although fate has presented the Straw Hat Pirates with a chance, given that Imu is not on their main body. Currently, Imu is in The body of Gunko, through which he's using the Demon God power. As seen previously, Imu can use black magic, and do the unthinkable by turning his enemies into his slave warriors. Truly, Imu is the exact opposite of Luffy and one that must be taken down by him.

One Piece: Oda Has Already Decided To Kill Two Characters In Elbaf
Oda has set up major red flags for these two characters. These two will die before the end of Elbaf in One Piece.
Elbaf will give the fans a good prelude to the real Luffy Vs Imu fight, which will come sooner or later, but there is no guarantee that Imu will be One Piece's Final villain. This is because there is another big villain who fans know will play a major role in the Final Saga, and that is none other than Blackbeard.

Fans know very well that Blackbeard is very powerful and there is no denying that. Right now, he's one of the Four Emperors of the Sea, with a bounty of 3.996 billion berries. But, Blackbeard is still in search of more strength. He still wants to get stronger, which means that he will have another Devil Fruit sooner or later. This Devil Fruit has to be strong, just as his other two fruits are.

One thing about Blackbeard to keep in mind is that he is an opportunist. He always waits for the right moment and steals the strongest Devil Fruits. If Blackbeard is sidelined for a while and only makes his move when Imu is weakened, he could very well steal their Devil Fruit. With the Demon God fruit, none can stop Whitebeard, and he will inevitably end up becoming the strongest in One Piece history. Needless to say, he would make for a fantastic final villain, and his overall power would be out of his world. Oda definitely has some big plans for Blackbeard, and fans can't wait to see what they are.
