Xebec being in Loki's flashback has definitely been a treat for fans, and with Xebec in the flashback, fans get to see more of his legendary crew, the Rocks Pirates. Fans have always wondered how this crew came to be, and now, the founding members have finally been revealed in One Piece chapter 1155.

The Rocks Pirates Were The World’s Strongest Crew

This Crew Had Some of the Strongest Pirates Ever

The Rocks Pirates are a crew of legends. The members who made up this crew were all absolutely monstrous individuals in their own right. The only downside of this crew was their lack of unity, which eventually caused their downfall.

The Rocks Pirates were first properly introduced during the Gods Valley mention from Sengoku, and fans were shocked to see a staggering lineup of individuals.

Having Whitebeard, Big Mom, Kaido, and Shiki, all in one crew, is quite astonishing. These people, on their own, are each global threats in One Piece.

While they're certainly the most impressive members, there are others as well. The crew also had other powerful members. Gloriosa, the former Empress of Amazon Lily before Shakky, was also on this crew, as well as individuals like Stussy, Marlon, Captain John, Wang Zhi, and Ganzui.

And of course, one can’t forget the captain himself, Rocks D. Xebec. Xebec has been a mystery for much of the story, but he is finally getting some exposure during the ongoing flashback in Elbaf.

As far as pirates under Rocks go, not all of them were in their prime. For example, Kaido was still a teenager during his days as a Rocks Pirate. Yet, Kaido was still a monster, even back then.

While fans know the members who made up the Rocks Pirates, Oda didn’t quite reveal who joined them first. The recent One Piece chapter does bring some clarity to that, however.

The most notable of the founding members is, of course, Whitebeard. Whitebeard has been with Rocks for quite some time, and this chapter confirms it. Aside from Whitebeard, some very recognizable people are Shiki and Stussy. While these people aren’t explicitly revealed as founding members, they were the first members of the Rocks Pirates, before he even had a flag for his ship.

Oda also revealed that when Rocks was in Elbaf, he had Marlon, Wang Zhi, and Ganzui within his ranks. Fans have yet to see much of these characters, however.

Naturally, fans are now wondering when people like Big Mom and Gloriosa joined the crew, and Oda will eventually showcase them in One Piece chapter 1156, by which time Big Mom is known to have joined the crew already.
