Through the character of Vegapunk, Oda went on to highlight the most important characters in what he calls the “final arc” of One Piece and there are quite a few, to say the least. All these characters are players that Oda has been slowly building up for years, and now, it is their time to shine in one way or another.

How Oda Has Already Set Up The Most Important One Piece Characters

  • One Piece Chapter 1121 Holds The Key
  • Oda Has Set Up Important Characters Already

Of course, when it comes to the most important characters in any One Piece arc, the Straw Hat Pirates come to mind. There is absolutely no denying the fact that they will take up an exciting role in the entirety of the Final Saga of One Piece, and that their captain, Luffy, is going to be the most important of them all. After all, without Luffy, there would be no One Piece.

But, there are also other characters that Oda has highlighted to be very important in the Final Saga, and some of them are quite surprising. Starting with Luffy's rivals, there are other members of the Four Emperors that exist on the seas. Oda made sure to highlight every single one of them. Along with Luffy, Blackbeard, Buggy, and Shanks are going to be very important as well. They're all going to shape the face of the world as they see fit in the Final Saga and that makes fans very excited for what's to come concerning these indivisible.

The Revolutionary Army and That Holy Knights Stand Out

Of course, the Straw Hat Pirates and the Yonko crew stand out in One Piece’s final arc, but there are also going to be other characters that Oda thinks will be very important. Just like Shanks, these characters haven't appeared much so far, and they're the members of the Revolutionary Army. Fans know that Monkey D. Dragon has a very important role to play, especially given that he's the one who is leading the Revolutionary Army right now.

With him, there's also Sabo who fans know will play a significant character in this segment of the story. The Revolutionary Army is up against the Holy Knights, so naturally, characters who belong to this group will play a very important role as well. Oda basically said that Shamrock and Garling will be especially important moving forward.

The Marines Are Always In The Mix

Although the Marines are not given as much importance as the Holy Knights so far, fans know that they will be important moving forward. From their side, Oda highlighted Sakazuki, which means that he will have a big role to play as a villain later down the line. With Sakazuki, former Navy Admiral Kuzan is there as well, and what role has to play remains to be seen. Koby, yet another marine, is also a part of the Sword and fans know that his goal is to stop Luffy from getting the One Piece.

Finally, there is one last character that Oda introduced in this segment of the story and that's none other than Imu. Fans know Imu will be revealed fully soon and it is only a matter of arcs before all attention is turned to them.

If Oda's words are to be taken seriously, the fans know the characters who will play the biggest role in Elbaf and moving forward. Regardless of what fans think, Oda has made it clear who the stars of the show in the Final Saga are going to be. Whether they'll all shine together at the same time, or if Oda will give them some time and their true worth is shown in battles the upcoming One Piece wars are going to be absolutely incredible.
