One Piece chapter 1146 was absolutely massive in many ways, and finally, fans got to see major developments in regards to the Holy Knights fights. Much to the surprise of the fans, the Holy Knights showed overwhelming superiority in all their battles, and the Straw Hat Pirates, despite being a Yonko crew, couldn't do much against them.

One Piece chapter 1146 was absolutely shocking for the fans. While Oda had already set up a confrontation between Gunko and the Straw Hat Pirates, few fans had expected for it to be as one-sided as it was. Gunko was able to effortlessly steamroll the crew and she did so without even taking any damage. This is a huge feat in itself, given that the Straw Hats are a Yonko crew now, and more than that, they also had Knight of the Sea, Jinbe, on the ship, who is worth 1.1 billion berries.

Despite all that, the Straw Hats stood absolutely no chance in battle against Gunko and were effortlessly beaten and thrown off the ship by Gunko. Meanwhile, Collun, who was also on the ship as the captain of the crew, has now been successfully kidnapped by the Holy Knights and made into a hostage, spelling trouble for those of Elbaf. While this situation is quite dangerous, fans also know that it sets up a bigger battle in the upcoming One Piece chapter, and that is the battle between Scopper Gaban and the Holy Knights.

Now that Collun has been kidnapped, it is time that Scopper Gaban jumps into battle. As fans know, Collun is Gaban's very own son, which means that there is absolutely nothing that Gaban won't do to save him. One Piece chapter 1147 should definitely set up a confrontation between Scopper Gaban and the Holy Knights.

Oda will use Scopper Gaban cleverly here. For one, Gaban will likely show how to counter the regeneration powers of the Holy Knights. At the same time, Gaban will most likely save the kids of Elbaf, but in the process, take damage himself. At this point, Gaban taking damage is inevitable. Oda loves to use hostages to hurt main characters in battle all the time. Oden lost to Kaido because of Momonosuke, while Garp lost to the Blackbeard Pirates due to Koby.
Similarly, Gaban could face a similar end here, and it would most certainly be down to Collun being used as a hostage here. Regardless, Oda will not have Scopper Gaban go down without a major victory, and he will most likely overwhelm the Holy Knights with his powers, and at the same time, save all the kids as well.
