One Piece: Eiichiro Oda Reveals His Biggest Dream
Oda is the creator of One Piece. He has revealed his dream for the series.
It is safe to say that Oda has introduced a new power here that the fans are unaware of, and it comes down to a new haki application that has not been seen before.
The Advanced Types Of Haki As Fans Know It
- Haki Exists In Three Types
- Every Haki Has At Least One Advanced Type
Haki is one of the most diverse powers in the One Piece world. Fans know that it exists in two main types and one special type. The Color of Arms allows one to manifest their spirit and use it as an armor for both offense and defense. The Color of Observation is like a sixth sense that boosts observation skills, and the third rare type, the Color of the Supreme King, allows the user to intimidate others and knock them out completely.
To never doubt yourself, that is true strength! — Silvers Rayleigh
These are the basic types of each Haki that fans have seen in One Piece, but it is clear that there are advanced Haki types as well. For instance, advancing the Color of Observation to the next level allows one to see the future. The next level of Color of Arms allows one to deal damage without making contact precisely, and an even more advanced level allows one to deal damage internally. As for the Supreme King Haki, it can be used just like the Color of Arms. In other words, some in the world of One Piece can wear it like armor and use it to boost their offensive and defensive capabilities. So far, Supreme King infusion appears to be the strongest Haki type in One Piece.
One Piece: Oda Has Already Confirmed When Elbaf's Main Villain Will Appear
The main villain of Elbaf is yet to appear. Oda has already confirmed when this villain will appear in One Piece.
The Most Special Haki Type — Soul Damaging Haki
An Advanced Conqueror's Haki Type Used By Scopper Gaban And Joy Boy
In One Piece chapter 1148, Oda finally revealed to the fans yet another rare advanced type of Haki. This Haki was used by Scopper Gaban, and although it doesn't look any different from regular Supreme King Haki, it is clearly more dangerous. With this Haki, one can counter the power of immortality, which is what makes it special.
It's been a while, Sommers! — Gaban
It is clear that Supreme King Haki on its own cannot counter immortality. In Egghead, Luffy wasn't able to counter the immortality of the Five Elders despite being users of Supreme King Haki. In fact, Luffy himself stated that nothing works on the Elders.
This clearly means that there is a secret to countering the immortality of the Five Elders and the Holy Knights. Given that Gaban countered it with Haki, the most likely path to doing it is using an advanced application of Haki that can deal damage to the soul. This was first used by Joy Boy in Egghead as he countered the immortality of the Five Elders and even caused Imu pain. Now, this very same Haki is used by Gaban to counter Sommers's immortality. This is, by far, the most rare Haki application, and Oda will definitely shed more light on it in the upcoming chapters of One Piece.
