One Piece: Oda Has Already Revealed Who Is Stronger Between Shanks And Shamrock 

The Final Saga of One Piece has been absolutely spectacular so far, and fans know very well that the biggest and most important characters are going to play a massive role in the story here. Among them is, expectedly, the captain of the Red Hair Pirates, Shanks. Fans have always wanted to see more of Shanks in One Piece, given that he was introduced in the story right at the beginning.

The Final Saga of the story promises the fans a deep dive into Shanks, but also his brother, Shamrock. Fans were recently introduced to Shamrock Figarland, a monstrously powerful Holy Knight of the World Government. It goes without saying that Shamrock Figarland is strong, but fans often wonder who the stronger of the two brothers is. Thankfully, Oda seems to have already clarified their power levels, and Shanks appears to be the stronger of the two at the moment.

Shanks And Shamrock Are Twins, But Shanks Is Stronger

Shanks Has Powerful Haki Comparable To Joy Boy

One Piece fans know very well that Shamrock and Shanks must be relative in terms of power. For one, both of them are two sides of the same coin. While Shanks ended up with Roger, Shamrock was taken care of by Garling Figarland. Their upbringing was certainly very different from each other, but their strength is equally monstrous.

Fans know very well that Shamrock Figarland serves in the Holy Knights, and leads as their captain, which makes him incredibly powerful. Meanwhile, Shanks was connected to the Holy Knights as well at one point, given that he carried their mark on his arm. Shanks and Shamrock could've been in the same group together.

The biggest difference in their power comes from how they were raised. From what fans know right now, Shamrock Figarland received powers directly from Imu. He has a sword named Cerberus and it allows him to spawn a Cerberus that's capable of doing tremendous damage. More than that, Shamrock Figarland is also very likely immortal, just like the other Holy Knights. Imu's powers should be his main source of strength, along with some powerful Haki.

In the case of Shanks, however, fans know very well that he is among the strongest in the world right now. Shanks has majestic Haki that Oda himself compared directly to Joy Boy, the strongest character in the series. More than that, Shanks has inherited the powers of Rocks and Roger through his swordplay. To inherit the powers of Rocks and have Haki comparable to Joy Boy means that Shanks is the strongest pirate right now, and thus stronger than Shamrock.

Shamrock Is Garling's Successor

It is no secret that among all the pirates that exist in the One Piece world right now, Shanks is perhaps the most important one. He inherited Roger's dreams and hopes as well as his strength. Shanks is the Roger of the current era, and just like Roger, he won't get to fulfill the will of Joy Boy. Still, his strength should be comparable to the Pirate King.

As far as Shamrock goes, he should be the Garling of the current era. Fans know that Garling was on Roger's level or close in the past, which means that Shamrock and Shanks should also be very close. That said, the edge would be given to Shanks, as seems to be implied by Oda himself.
