One Piece's Elbaf Arc is quite possibly one of the very best arcs that Oda has written after the timeskip, if not the best already. This arc has already delivered everything that the fans love the story for, be it the deep lore of the world, exciting character reveals, or the very best flashback that everyone gets excited for. The arc has also set up what could end up being the biggest battle in all of One Piece, and it goes without saying that this has the readers excited.

The Worst Generation's strongest member has been revealed, and it's not Luffy in One Piece.
One thing that not many fans remember, however, is that on top of all this excitement, Oda might also end up completing the Straw Hat Pirates here. For years, fans have been wondering who the final Straw Hat under Luffy will be, and the answer might have finally been revealed in Elbaf already. Much to the surprise of the fans, the final Straw Hat, which Luffy himself wants to be Loki, could very well replace Roronoa Zoro in the Straw Hat crew in terms of strength. If Loki joins, Zoro will officially be beaten by him in strength rankings.

Right now, the Straw Hat Pirates of One Piece have a very peculiar order of strength. Luffy stands on top as the Captain, and he's then followed by Zoro, his right arm, and Sanji, his left arm. The difference in power between Zoro and Sanji isn't much and Oda has practically set them up to be equals, but Oda himself recognizes Zoro as the arbitrary Number 2 in the crew. However, this status of his will be threatened by Loki if he goes on to join the crew. It goes without saying that Zoro is strong, but to say that he is currently stronger than Loki would be preposterous.

The strongest Devil Fruit has already been revealed, and it belongs to a Yonko in One Piece.
Loki is an absolute calamity known to be strong enough to destroy the world of One Piece. His powers are such that many consider him to be strong enough to destroy the whole of Elbaf, and even the world of One Piece. Even the World Government considers him special, given his bounty status, and the fact that he is worth 2.6 billion berries, which is a Yonko-level bounty. The moment Loki joins the crew, he will replace Zoro as well as Sanji as Luffy's strongest underling.
Only Shanks Could Beat Loki
Zoro Is No Match for Loki Right Now
Loki hasn't been beaten by many characters in the One Piece series. In fact, only Shanks was able to beat him in a battle, and that goes to show what level of power he holds. Anyone weaker than Shanks won't be able to beat Loki, and for now, Zoro is absolutely no match. Of course, Zoro will continue to grow stronger too. Fans know very well that Zoro is far from his peak. At the end of the story, Zoro will be an elite pirate and would certainly be strong enough to beat Loki, but right now, he's not anywhere close to the Accursed Prince of Elbaf.
