This article contains spoilers from One Piece's Elbaf arc.
One Piece's Elbaf arc is the first major step that Oda has taken in the Final Saga, with Egghead being the gateway to the challenges that the Straw Hat Pirates will face in this particular segment of the story. Naturally, since this is the final saga, only the strongest of enemies will appear in this part of the story. Fans know very well that Luffy has dealt with the likes of Kaido, and at the same time, that the powerful characters that Oda is now introducing are making even Kaido look like a joke. In the Elbaf arc, in particular, Oda has only gone on to officially confirm the strongest One Piece character of all time.
October 26 Is Going To Be A Big Day For One Piece Fans
After a very long break, the One Piece manga is finally making a comeback.
Whereas the likes of Kaido, Whitebeard, or even Roger were considered by many to be the strongest in One Piece up until recently, now, there's no doubt about the fact that they are far from being One Piece's strongest character of all time. In fact, if anything, they're not even remotely close to being the strongest. One Piece's God Valley Incident has officially revealed the strongest character of all time, and it is, undoubtedly, Imu. With Saturn's body, Imu was able to fight six absolute monsters at the same time, and still come out on top, which makes him the most powerful of all.
Imu Is One Piece's Undisputed Strongest Character
Imu Beat Joy Boy In The Past
- Imu Absolutely Demolished Rocks D. Xebec
- Even Roger, Garp, and Whitebeard Are No Match For Imu
One Piece fans always wondered who the strongest character of all time in the story was, and finally, Oda has given the fans the answer to this question.
Allow Mu to show thee the dominance of a God! — Imu to the citizen of Elbaf
It doesn't come as a surprise to anyone that some considered Kaido to be the strongest, while others believed Garp, Roger, or even Whitebeard to be at the very top. These characters are all strong in their own right, but they most certainly aren't strong enough to beat Imu.
It's Time To Admit One Piece's Marineford Arc Will Be Beaten By The Upcoming Arc
Marineford is big, but it will be nothing compared to this upcoming One Piece arc.
In One Piece chapter 1163, Oda went on to confirm to the fans that Imu stands above all. In the chapter, fans could clearly see Roger, Garp, Rocks, Whitebeard, Big Mom, and Kaido fight against Imu, who was possessing Saturn's body. Even with such an immense lineup, wielding terrific firepower, they weren't able to injure Imu at all. What's worse, Imu was completely unscathed after taking the most powerful combined attack in all of One Piece. Not only that, but they then went on to defeat Rocks D. Xebec.
What might that be, you ask? Well, to put it simply, I'd say that's the world itself! — Rocks D. Xebec on Imu
Imu's Powers Can Only Be Beaten By Luffy
Luffy Vs Imu Is Coming In One Piece
At this point, there doesn't seem to be any character that can beat Imu in One Piece, other than Luffy. Even for Luffy, beating Imu isn't going to be easy. This is because of the immense power of evil they possess, but Luffy has the power of Sun God Nika to counter Imu's abilities.
The main fight of the Elbaf arc might be Luffy vs Imu, and in that case, Oda will deliver one of the most exciting battles in all of One Piece to the fans. Not only will Oda reveal more of Imu's monstrously powerful abilities, but at the same time, fans will also get to see how Luffy manages to counter Imu's abilities, if at all. One Piece's biggest battle is edging closer, and Luffy, the protagonist, will finally get a taste of battle against the strongest character of all time.
One Piece Chapter 1163 will be out this week. As usual, One Piece is going to drop on Sunday. In Japan, One Piece drops at 12AM JST on Monday. However, the vast majority of international readers will see the chapter available on October 26. The official release date of One Piece Chapter 1163 is October 26, 2025.
