Summary

  • New YouTube episode featuring Luffy & Law post-Wano arc.
  • One Piece anime returns in April 2025 after hiatus.
  • Possible remake announcement by Wit Studio in 2025 for fans.

The One Piece anime has been on hiatus for months, and the studio has been releasing new episodes from the remastered version of the Fish-Man Island arc in order to fill the gap. Previously, fans had complained about the arc being slow and unnecessarily dragged out.

The remastered version has better pacing and improved animation, making it easier for fans to watch it. On Sunday, January 19, 2025, the official YouTube account of the One Piece anime released a new short video centering around Trafalgar Law and Monkey D. Luffy.

The New Luffy and Law Episode Can Be Found On YouTube

The new episode is set after the climax of the Wano Country arc. In the new video, Luffy and Law are still in Wano, where they come across a Sea-King. The creatures can be several feet long, which gives them immense physical strength.

In the video, the monster gave Luffy and Law a lot of trouble. Individually, they were unable to overcome the behemoth, so the Supernovas had to combine their efforts. After toiling for a while, the two young pirates emerged victorious. Following their victory, Luffy and Law left the country to look for the next Road Poneglyph and get closer to their respective goals. At the time of writing, the episode is only available in Japanese and has no subtitles. The short episode was not half bad, and it highlighted Law and Luffy's relationship. It also proved that Law is more popular than Kid and is likely to feature more in special episodes.
