New Art of Kozuki Oden

For the Occasion of His Birthday

One Piece Kozuki Oden Twin Swords

Important One Piece characters typically always get a new illustration of their own on their birthday. The most recent one out right now is Kozuki Oden’s which is quite unique and eye-catching. The artist of the illustration isn’t exactly known at the moment, but is likely a Toei animator.

Oda made February 21st the birthday of Kozuki Oden, and naturally, fans knew that they would get an illustration this time around. One Piece's birthday illustrations almost always stun. This one is drawn with quite a fluid style, so fans of this art style will definitely love it. In this drawing, Oden is hanging over a crow’s nest on a boat, with Whitebeard and Marco being seen as small figures in the background, with gifts and cake in their hands for his birthday.

Oddly enough, Oden doesn't share his birthday with any major One Piece character.

Kozuki Oden’s Character

A Powerful Pirate That Fought Alongside the Strongest People

Kozuki Oden is one of the most beloved One Piece characters since his backstory was revealed during the Wano arc, a peak in the One Piece story. Oden, after he left Wano, traveled with powerful pirates, such as Roger, the Pirate King, and even Whitebeard.

Oden wouldn’t be Oden, if it wasn’t boiled! — Kozuki Oden

Oden was definitely one of the strongest pirates out there, who even discovered the truth of the One Piece world after his voyage with Gol D. Roger to Laugh Tale.

Oden died after being boiled alive and shot in the head when he returned to Wano, following his loss to Kaido that happened through deceit. His legacy, however, lives on in Momonosuke and Hiyori, his two children, but also in Yamato, a self-proclaimed Kozuki Oden.
