Netflix recently released a brand-new trailer for One Piece Live-Action Season 2. The second season is inching closer to its official release, and the latest trailer teases some big, flashy events from the second season.

The first season of Netflix's live-action One Piece remake was excellent, and OPLA introduced us to some crucial players like Zoro, Sanji, Nami, and Usopp. That said, we have yet to experience the full scale of Eiichiro Oda's massive world of pirates. Characters like Chopper and Robin will enter the picture in Season 2, and while we already got a good glimpse at the furry little reindeer, the latest teaser gives us a better look at Robin.

New One Piece Live-Action Trailer Introduces The Next Big Threat For The Straw Hats

Yes, It's The Criminal Syndicate Baroque Works

Official anime art of the Straw Hat Pirates facing Baroque Works.

In One Piece Season 1, Luffy and his mates face the might of Arlong, the fearsome captain of the Fish-Man crew. In the end, Luffy managed to defeat this enemy, but another band of criminals is waiting for the Straw Hats in Season 2 of Netflix's One Piece. This time, Luffy will have to go against Baroque Works, the criminal syndicate with not one but several powerful members. Honestly, Baroque Works features some quirky characters like Mr. 3 or Mr. 5, and fans were eager to see their live-action avatars. Well, let's just say each member of the Baroque Works looks as weirdly amazing in live-action as in the anime or the manga.

Get your first look at the Baroque Works in the new official trailer of One Piece Live-Action Season 2:

Sure, everyone is excited to see the Baroque Works in action, but the fandom is more thrilled about Miss All Sunday (Lera Abova). For the unacquainted, Miss All Sunday's real name is Robin. Without spoiling too much, let's just say that she will play a crucial role in One Piece going forward. Robin is an extremely powerful character, and we can see a glimpse of her abilities in the trailer. The only character who's missing in the latest trailer is Chopper, but frankly, a little bit of mystery around this particular character is good. We already got a good look at him in the previous trailer, so it's great that Netflix doesn't want to rob fans of the surprise element by showing too much of him.

One Piece Season 2 Will Set Sail For The Alabasta Saga & Introduce Nico Robin

Season 1 of Netflix's One Piece wrapped up the East Blue saga, so now, it's about time for the Straw Hats to enter the Grand Line and face its dangers in the Alabasta Saga. The saga will feature multiple story arcs: Loguetown, Reverse Mountain, Whiskey Peak, Little Garden, Drum Island, and, of course, Alabasta. It's going to be one hell of an adventure, but things will take a darker turn in the Alabasta arc.

That's when the Baroque Works will enter the picture to push Luffy and his friends beyond their limits. The first season concluded with the ultimate battle between Luffy and Arlong, and the major villain of Season 2 will be Crocodile (played by Joe Manganiello). Crocodile, or Mr. 0, is one of the Seven Warlords and the leader of the Baroque Works. Crocodile is an interesting One Piece villain, so it would be exciting to see how the live-action adaptation will tackle such a crucial yet complex character from Eiichiro Oda's world.

One Piece Live-Action Season 2 will arrive on Netflix on March 10.
