Nefeltari Vivi And The Kingdom Of Alabasta

One Of The Straw Hat's Oldest Allies

First Appearance

One Piece, Chapter 103, "The Whale"

Debut Date

September 6, 1999

  • Nefeltari Lily was likely the most important character in history after Joyboy himself due to her releasing the Poneglyphs into the world.

Ever since the early days of the One Piece story, Alabasta has been portrayed as an incredibly important kingdom, both in terms of overall strength and significance in the lore. Not only were some of the greatest secrets of the world buried here, but it was revealed that Alabasta was originally one of the 20 kingdoms which banded together to defeat Joyboy and create the World Government. However, its leader, Nefeltari D. Lily, abandoned the cause and refused to move to Marijoa, even helping Joyboy in the end by releasing the Poneglyphs into the world.

No matter what happens from here on, our left arms will bear the sign of our friendship.

In the current era, it seems that much of the history of the world is repeating, with Luffy and Vivi now being inextricably linked, similar to how Joyboy and Lily were. After saving Alabasta, one of the world's most strategically significant and powerful nations, Luffy has ensured Vivi as one of his most important allies, with her and the forces of her homeland likely proving to be invaluable in the Final War.

Shirahoshi And The Kingdom Of Fishman Island

One Of The World's Greatest Powers

First Appearance

One Piece, Chapter 612, "Taken by the Shark They Saved"

Debut Date

January 31, 2011

  • Poseidon was likely an essential ally of Joyboy as well and was one of the 3 Ancient Weapons.

Shirahoshi is the princess of Fishman Island and, similarly to Vivi, is directly connected to a being from ancient times who had a very important allegiance to Joyboy. From this, it can be seen that there seems to be a repeat of roles and characters from the Void Century, with Joyboy being linked to Luffy, Lily to Vivi, and now, Shirahoshi to the original Poseidon. Thematically, the Fishmen are some of the most oppressed people in the world, so they will be one of the biggest helps in the Final War against their oppressors.

It feels like I have known you since I was a kid although we just met for the first time!

Moreover, Shirahoshi is not only this important due to being their leader, but mostly because she is one of the 3 Ancient Weapons. Since she is the modern-day manifestation of Poseidon, she can control the Sea Kings to do her bidding as their promised sovereign, which undoubtedly makes her one of the Straw Hat's most powerful and important allies in the Final War.

Going into One Piece's Final Saga, most fans believe that Shanks is in the most danger out of all the heroes, so let's see why this is!

Kozuki Momonosuke And The Kingdom Of Wano

The Leader Of An Unaffiliated Nation

First Appearance

One Piece, Chapter 684, "Don't Do It, Vegapunk"

Debut Date

October 15, 2012

  • Wano was the land of the Kozuki clan, who were some of Joyboy's greatest allies.

Just like Fishman Island and Alabasta, Wano is one of the oldest and most important lands in the entire world of One Piece. Ever since the Void Century ended, Wano has remained one of the few nations unaffiliated with the World Government, mainly due to their nigh-impenetrable borders that have kept most of the world out of their reach. Wano is now ruled by Kozuki Momonosuke, who has become the latest leader from the legendary Kozuki line, who were possibly Joyboy's greatest allies during the Void Century.

This is the birth of the man who would later be known around the world as the greatest Shogun of Wano, Kozuki Momonosuke!

Not only were they the ones to create the Poneglyphs, but they fortified Wano greatly. The end of the Wano arc confirms that Momonosuke will eventually go on to become the greatest ruler that the land has ever had, ensuring that Wano will play a pivotal role in the Final War, perhaps even by using Pluton, which is confirmed to be under the island in the first place. Because of this, some fans believe that Momonosuke and the forces of Wano may make their debut in the Final War with Pluton.

Prince Loki And The Kingdom Of Elbaf

The Strongest Race in the Setting

First Appearance

One Piece, Chapter 1130, "The Accursed Prince"

Debut Date

October 21, 2024

  • The Giants are the strongest race in the world.

Similarly, Elbaf has also remained unconquered by the World Government since the Void Century. However, unlike Wano, where the borders of the country protected it from being taken over, the World Government has stayed away from Elbaf due to the sheer strength of the Giants, since they are the most powerful race in the One Piece world and are feared by everyone else due to their strength. Although the Elbaf arc is still airing at the time of writing, the Giants are likely going to be the Straw Hat's strongest allies.

I am the Sun God who will bring about the end of the world!

Moreover, the prince of Elbaf, Loki, will end up being a good guy according to most fans, and if this happens, then the heroes may just be stronger than the villains in the Final War since they would have 2 users of Sun God Devil Fruits on their side. Plus, either Loki or even Hajrudin would become the new leaders of the Elbaf Giants, both of whom will be some of Luffy's most important allies.

One Piece can be streamed on Crunchyroll.
