As the events of Elbaf were finally picking up, the plan of the Holy Knights was finally about to come to fruition. With Imu being preoccupied with Brook, the children of Elbaf were all headed to their doom by falling off the bridge and into the Underworld. However, they were mysteriously saved by a silhouette larger than anything else in Elbaf.
Eventually, this was revealed to be Loki in his fully realized Mythical Zoan form, which takes the appearance of a titanic black dragon. In this state, Loki dwarfs Killingham's nightmare monsters, which were many times larger than even those Giants with the Ancient Giant lineage. In his dragon form, Loki can fit these monsters within his mouth, making even giant Gear 5 Luffy look no bigger than a regular Elbaf Giant.
This single reveal has flipped everything that fans have known about the Final War on its head, especially when taking Jarul's mysterious comment into consideration. It has finally been revealed to fans that the mythical Sun God of Destruction that Loki and many other Elbaf Giants were talking about was this incredible dragon of legend.
Riding atop its head, Luffy laughed while in his Nika form, showing that these two are the most powerful alliance who are set to take part in the Final War of the series. Of course, the truth of Loki's powers and the identity of his fruit are still a mystery, but this immense size and the seeming ability to control the weather to an extent has already placed Loki as one of the most powerful figures in One Piece.

At the current moment, it's very hard to see how even Imu can deal with these two on Elbaf, since both are masters of Haki and each have one of the most important and powerful Devil Fruits in the entire setting. Because of this, the invulnerability of the Holy Knights, and pretty much all of their other powers, are essentially meaningless in the eyes of these two.
Of course, the greatest threat on Elbaf at the current moment is Imu, who is likely still stronger than Luffy and Loki. However, going by just their feats so far, it's very difficult to see how they can even deal with the wielders of the Sun God fruits at all. It is likely through Luffy and Loki's interference that the Domi Reversi'd Giants will revert and the World Government's presence on the island will be thwarted.

Little can be conclusively said about Loki's powers since the identity of his Devil Fruit is still a mystery. However, seeing the form that he has taken in his full transformed state, a few notable possibilities come to mind, particularly a fan theory claiming that Loki has the Nidhogg Mythical Zoan fruit.
In Norse Mythology, Nidhogg is a dragon who lives at the base of the World Tree and gnaws at its roots. Of course, the comparison isn't completely accurate, but the symbolism is quite apparent since Loki has a dragon fruit and had been chained up at the base of the Adam Tree for years. However, it's unlikely that, aside from its name, there are any other similarities between Loki's fruit and the beast from Norse Mythology.
