Shanks was an apprentice on the crew of Gol D. Roger. Shanks adored his captain and did anything that he asked of him. Shanks was very young when he was traveling with the Roger Pirates, but it helped him gain a great deal of experience. Shanks wielded a sword in battle, and he wasn't hesitant to use it.

6 Kozuki Toki

When Oden was charging toward the Roger Pirates, Gabon and Rayleigh were the first ones who stepped up to put an end to his rampage. It is possible that Gabon was the fourth-strongest member of the crew after Roger, Rayleigh, and Oden.
3 Kozuki Oden

Kozuki Oden was originally a member of the Whitebeard Pirates. He sailed with the crew for a long time, and he was even named the Second Division Commander of the Whitebeard Pirates. At one point, he met Roger, who invited him to join his crew. Whitebeard was against this, but he gave in after Oden personally expressed his desire to join Roger.
With the help of Oden, Roger and his crew were finally able to find the Laugh Tale and learn about the true history of the world. Oden was a fantastic fighter who used two swords in battle. His strength was so overwhelming that even Kaido was unable to do anything against him.
2 Silvers Rayleigh

Silvers Rayleigh was the first person that Roger recruited for his crew, and he ultimately became Roger's right-hand man. Like many of his crew members, Rayleigh did not have any kind of Devil Fruit. He had access to all types of Haki, which made him a fearsome individual.
He carries a sword, and he is rather skilled at using it. Rayleigh was able to injure Admiral Kizaru in a fight despite being over 70 years old. It is obvious that his strength must have been far greater in his prime. Rayleigh's reputation is so incredible that Blackbeard decided against killing Hancock and left the island with his crew.

Gol D. Roger was the captain of the Roger Pirates and the strongest member of the crew. He was an easygoing person with a childish demeanor. Roger loved to celebrate and fight, which made him stand out from the other members of his crew. He did not have any kind of Devil Fruit, but he was still among the strongest pirates in the world.
The secret behind his strength was his Haki, with which he was able to fight against the likes of Whitebeard, Garp, Shiki, and Rocks. Roger could use all three types of Haki, and he was particularly adept at using Haoshoku Haki. He remains the only pirate captain to have successfully conquered the Grand Line and found the One Piece.
