For the fiscal year of 2025, Toei Animation has finally published the financial reports for the first quarter, which is from April 2025 to June 2025. During this quarter, One Piece is the highest-grossing franchise for Toei, surpassing even Dragon Ball. One Piece has brought in 6.1 billion yen, while Dragon Ball is second with 5.16 billion yen, which is a huge difference.

August 9 Will Be A Big Day For One Piece Fans
August 9 will be a huge day for fans of the One Piece series.
What makes it even more shocking is the fact that Dragon Ball recently got another anime, Dragon Ball Daima, while One Piece was on a 6-month hiatus, which could've affected its popularity. Despite everything, it appears that One Piece has surpassed Dragon Ball here too.
