When it comes to manga series, One Piece is quite easily the greatest to ever exist. It is the most sold manga in the world, and no other series comes even remotely close to it. One Piece’s manga is absolutely phenomenal, both in terms of the quality that it offers, and the consistency that it delivers over the course of the 28-year run. However, the same cannot be said for the anime.

While the One Piece anime is decent overall, it is not the perfect adaptation that the franchise deserves. The One Piece anime has absolutely terrible pacing and has had, in the past, atrocious animation as well. Even though the anime has done well over the recent years, it cannot be denied that One Piece needs a modern anime, and that is precisely where Wit Studio's One Piece comes in. This project, titled The One Piece is officially on the way, and now, new details have emerged regarding this anime series that have excited all fans.
Wit Studio's One Piece Anime Reveals New Art
Wit Studio's The One Piece was officially announced in December 2023, and since then, very few details have been revealed regarding it. At Jump Festa last year, fans got a bit of an update on the project, but it was still seemingly in early production stages.
This year, so far, fans have not heard anything from this anime project, which has confused many. Now, however, new art related to this One Piece project has been revealed, and while they are not quite clear yet, it can be seen that these arts are from Orangetown, which is one of the earliest arcs in the One Piece series.

The fact that these art pieces are being revealed right now means that more information about Wit Studio's The One Piece series is coming. As fans know, Jump Festa is fast approaching, and this is where they should be getting new information about this anime project that is most certainly going to shake the whole world.
Wit Studio's One Piece Anime Is In Production Already
It is safe to assume that Wit Studio's One Piece has been in production for about a year now. The production schedule seems to be incredibly healthy, and given the fact that this is a seasonal anime that will first cover the events of the East Blue Saga, fans can rest assured that the quality that it will deliver will be of the very highest level.
One Piece: Oda Has Chosen The Final Straw Hat At Last
The final Straw Hat has already been decided. One Piece's latest chapter strongly implies that.
The concept art that was previously revealed concerning this anime looked incredibly impressive. Now, it appears that visuals from the different arcs of the anime, such as Orangetown, and possibly even the remaining arcs in the East Blue Saga, are on the way, and fans absolutely cannot wait to see that.
Since the anime has been in production for about a year, it can safely be said that a teaser, or perhaps even a full-length trailer could be revealed very soon at Jump Festa later on this December and fans absolutely cannot wait for that.
One Piece Will Get An Adaptation That It Deserves
For years, fans have watched One Piece fall behind when it comes to the anime side of things. Modern anime series like JJK, and Demon Slayer, among many others, have pulled ahead of One Piece. Of course, Toei Animation are doing what they can and it would be disingenuous to say that they don't deliver some absolutely spectacular episodes every once in a while.

However, they can do absolutely nothing about the pacing of the series, given that they are way too close to the manga. At the same time, they cannot go back and change episodes where the series suffered from terrible animation issues.
All things considered, Toei Animation's One Piece cannot be considered the best product, which is why Wit Studio's The One Piece is going to be the perfect adaptation for Eiichiro Oda's masterpiece, and something that the manga truly deserves.
