One Piece's Elbaf Arc puts the story one step closer to the grand conclusion, and fans know very well that things will only get more heated from here onwards. Given that Imu can transform into a Demon, it is a given that they hold Devil Fruit powers. But, more than that, Imu's abilities are on a completely different level. With powers to sign evil contracts, granting immortality, and even turning enemies into allies, Imu is truly the biggest and most formidable foe anyone in the world of One Piece can ever face. Their Devil Fruit power is most certainly the most broken of all, and it is only a matter of time before Oda reveals more about it.

Imu being a Devil Fruit user shouldn't come as a surprise to any One Piece fan. The fact is that along with Haki, Devil Fruits are the most powerful source of strength in the One Piece world. Just as Joy Boy had the power of the Hito Hito no Mi, Model: Nika, Imu seems to have a God ability themself, only this one is an evil God. What exact God power Imu holds isn't clear at this point in time, but Oda will surely reveal the name in due time.

Luffy isn't the only user of the Hito Hito no Mi, Model: Nika; Oda had huge plans for him in a One Piece movie.
Coming over to Imu's powers, fans can most certainly tell that their biggest power concerns evil. Imu makes use of the Power of Evil, just as Luffy makes use of freedom. This is even reflected in the name of their contract, Akuwaru, or Aqwarl. In Japanese, Aku and Waru are akin to Evil and Bad respectively. Using this demonic contract, Imu can essentially turn anyone into their slave with an ability known as Domi Reversi. While most fans assumed that this would only work on characters with a certain level of strength, the fact is that it can even work on the absolute top tiers of the One Piece world. The likes of the Yonko, or even someone as strong as the Pirate King can be turned into a slave by Imu in an instant, and that makes them practically invincible.

Imu Is One Piece's Strongest Character
While Domi Reversi is certainly the most powerful ability that Imu has, there are surely other powers in their arsenal as well. For one, fans know that Imu can also make other contracts with people, which means Akuwaru has many applications. For instance, in exchange for a certain lifespan, Imu can even grant immortality to others, as well as an undying body. Imu can make use of various magic thanks to their spellbook, and if that isn't enough, there are other contracts to consider that Imu hasn't shown yet.
Without a doubt, Imu is One Piece's strongest character and nobody else comes close. Be it Roger, Garp, or anyone else on their level, Imu is levels above at this point. The only one strong enough to match Imu was Joy Boy, and Luffy has a very high level to reach.
