  • One Punch Man Episode 1 has an October 5, 2025 release date.

One Punch Man, Season 3, Episode 1, will officially drop on October 5, 2025, at 11:45 JST (10:45 AM EDT). The first episode will be a recap of key events, moments, and battles from Season 2. This will serve as a refresher for fans who may need to catch up after the long wait, while also setting the stage for the Monster Association Arc that will kick off in Episode 2.

However, for those planning to skip the recap episode and head straight to the real start of One Punch Man Season 3, Episode 2 will finally arrive on October 12, 2025, at 24:30 JST (11:30 EDT). That’s when the events of the third season truly begin, with the Hero Association mobilizing against the Monster Association.

How Many Episodes Will One Punch Man Season 3 Have?

As of writing, the exact episode count of One Punch Man Season 3 is still unconfirmed, but it’s safe to assume that it will contain 12 episodes, following the same format as the first two seasons.

However, it won’t be a surprise if the third season ends up releasing more episodes, considering the length of the Monster Association Arc, which spans from chapter 78 all the way to chapter 175. Nearly a hundred chapters are in the upcoming One Punch Man story arc, so a standard 12-episode cour might not be enough to cover everything. This raises the possibility that One Punch Man Season 3 might extend beyond 12 episodes or be split into two cours.

On the other hand, One Punch Man Season 3 is also coming to Crunchyroll but only for selected regions like Africa, Europe, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, and India. One Punch Man Season 3 Will Air a Recap Episode

One-Punch Man Season 3 Episode 1 will air a recap episode, rather than jumping straight to the new storyline. This means that fans may witness the biggest battles that happened last season, along with character highlights for Saitama and Genos, as well as for the other characters like King, Silverfang, Garou, Elder Centipede, and more. This is especially helpful for viewers who may not have revisited Season 2 in years.

As mentioned, fans who want to skip the first episode can wait for another week to finally see new content in One Punch Man Season 3 Episode 2. Most likely, it will feature Garou and his first moments within the hideout of the Monster Association. If fans are lucky, they might even see Saitama knocking Garou with a single punch to the face at the end of the episode.
