Anime fans are a few weeks away from the release date of Oshi no Ko Season 3 Episode 1. The wait is almost over, as fans around the world inch closer to the return of Ai Hoshino’s reincarnated twins, Aqua and Ruby, in the 2026 winter anime season. Besides Aqua and Ruby, quite a few characters are going to shine the brightest in Oshi no Ko Season 3.
Previously, the cast of Tokyo Blade’s 2.5D Stage Play dominated Oshi no Ko Season 2. From Akane Kurokawa and Kana Arima to Melt Narushima and Taiki Himekawa, these actors hog the spotlight throughout Season 2. This time, in Season 3, Oshi no Ko opens an exciting new story arc, where Ruby and Aqua, along with other characters, get more love and attention.

8 Shun Yoshizumi
Dig Deeper! One Chance's Assistant Director
Shun Yoshizumi is yet another abused employee in the entertainment industry. He is the assistant director for the popular variety show called Dig Deeper! One Chance, where he oversees all the odd jobs that earn him the wrath of his director most of the time.
His role in the variety show gives him the opportunity to work with Ruby Hoshino, who unexpectedly gives him more attention than normal. His presence in Oshi no Ko Season 3 will shed more light on a variety show’s toxic environment, as well as the difficulties in producing a show one episode after another.
7 Tsukuyomi
Supernatural Entity and Manipulator of Fate
Tsukuyomi is one of the new characters in Oshi no Ko, announced alongside Hikaru Kamiki. At first glance, she looks like an ordinary girl, but there is something unsettling beneath her exterior. As far as we know, she isn’t a human being but a supernatural entity, making her extremely suspicious.
Based on the trailers released so far, Tsukuyomi is set to appear before Ruby Hoshino just in time after Aqua abandoned his plans for revenge. She flicks the switch on Ruby, sending her on the same path of revenge as Aqua in the entertainment industry.
6 Hikaru Kamiki
Ruby and Aqua's Biological Father
Hikaru Kamiki has a long history with Ai Hoshino in Oshi no Ko. With news of his casting, he is expected to fulfill a crucial role as Ai’s former lover and Ruby and Aqua’s estranged biological father in Oshi no Ko Season 3.
In other words, Hikaru Kamiki is the main reason why Aqua and Ruby are out for revenge in the entertainment industry. He is the person responsible for Ai’s death, someone who manipulated the tragic events from afar with his influence.

Mem-Cho is one of the funniest yet hardworking girls in Oshi no Ko. She is in her late twenties, yet she introduces herself as a teenager just to protect her flourishing career as an idol and content creator. She looks playful, but she possesses the hard skills to support her career. Among the members of the new B-Komachi, she is the most knowledgeable in marketing, social media management, and more!
In Oshi no Ko Season 3, Mem-Cho will continue to support her friends in their personal endeavors and relationships. Her connections with important people in the industry will also come in handy, especially in the new music video of B-Komachi.
4 Akane Kurokawa
The Genius Actress of LaLa Lai Theatrical Company
Akane Kurokawa has overcome a lot of challenges in Oshi no Ko. She received so much hate from online fans due to her impulsive actions in her hit reality show and nearly died due to depression. Without Aqua coming in to save her, she would not have recovered at all.
On the bright side, Akane learned to stand up for herself. She became more aggressive and competitive, consistent in finding ways to grow her self-confidence through acting. Her relationship with Aqua, although imperfect, has given her more room to grow. She is set to make waves in the entertainment industry, but also in Arima and Aqua’s lives.
3 Kana Arima
The Lead Girl of B-Komachi 2.0
In the entertainment industry, Kana Arima is infamous for her reputation as a genius child actress. Her acting abilities are far superior to any of her colleagues, but her bad attitude and sharp tongue humbled her in no time. This experience taught her a lesson she will never forget.
Right now, Arima is signed with Ichigo Pro as the lead idol of B-Komachi while accepting acting jobs from time to time. She has a huge crush on Aqua, despite the latter’s romantic relationship with Akane Kurokawa. Little does she know, Aqua feels the same way, but her idol work makes it complicated.
