Oshi no Ko Season 3 is set to be released in January 2026. The update came one day after the Aniplex Online Fest, which was held on September 13th, 2025. A new key visual and a teaser were also shared with fans, but aside from that, there were no other updates regarding the anime. With Oshi no Ko set to release the third season in January 2026, it means that the lineup for the next year is even stronger.
It has already been confirmed that Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3, Hell's Paradise Season 2, Fire Force Final Season, and Frieren: Beyond Journey's End Season 2 will release in January 2026. Now Oshi no Ko has been added to the lineup, which makes January 2026 one of the best months in anime history.
Anime Fans Were Disappointed By The Lack Of Solo Leveling News
Before the Aniplex Online Fest, there was a great deal of speculation about what series would share updates with the audience. In fact, many fans were hoping that there would be news regarding the third season of Solo Leveling. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case, which is why the future of the series is still up in the air. Meanwhile, the people involved with Oshi no Ko wasted no time in building on the anime's success. The studio is giving its all and trying to make sure that the adaptation is excellent. So far, Doga Kobo has given viewers no reason to complain, so fans should rest at ease.
One thing that fans do want from the studio is an original anime ending. Oshi no Ko manga ended in 2024, and readers were extremely disappointed with the conclusion. Aka Akasaka even warned fans beforehand that the finale would be polarizing.
Despite the backlash, a novel was released after the final, which expanded on the ending. However, it hardly received any positive reviews. It's because of these reasons that fans want Doga Kobo to come up with an original ending, but that's unlikely to ever happen.
