Overwatch 2 has started to introduce at least one crossover collaboration event per season, teaming up with various games, anime, and other pop culture franchises. These crossover events usually bring a set of challenges for players to participate in and earn rewards, as well as a series of hero cosmetics as certain individuals 'cosplaying' characters from the franchise Overwatch 2 is collaborating with.
Previous collaboration events have featured Cowboy Bebop, Diablo, One Punch Man, World of Warcraft, LE SSERAFIM, and more. With the upcoming arrival of Season 13 taking off on October 15, 2024, Overwatch 2 has announced the latest collaboration event with the popular anime series My Hero Academia. If you're wondering which characters have been featured as lucky recipients to receive My Hero Academia skins, players can find this and all other relevant information in the guide below.

All Overwatch 2 + My Hero Academia Crossover Collab Skins
Overwatch 2's Season 13 is set to kick on on October 15, 2024, following a shorter Season 12. The My Hero Academia crossover event will go live in-game on October 17, bringing a series of event challenges and cosmetics for players to enjoy.
This is also when Overwatch holds their usual Halloween-themed event, so it's likely the next Battle Pass and shop rotations will also feature many of these aspects. In a way, this makes the MHA crossover even better timed, letting players dress up their favorite characters as iconic heroes and villains from the franchise to celebrate in-game.
There have been five skins confirmed for the Overwatch 2 x My Hero Academia crossover event. This includes Tracer as Deku/Izuku Midoriya, Juno as Ochako Uraraka, Reinhardt as All Might, Reaper as Tomura Shigaraki, and Kiriko as Himiko Toga. If this crossover follows the same format as previous crossover events, it's likely that these skins will all be available for purchase separately in the Hero Gallery and Overwatch Shop, as well as in an individual bundle paired with voice lines and highlight intros and a complete bundle to buy all MHA crossover cosmetics and collectibles at once.
However, many of these events also offer a free-to-earn crossover skin for players to obtain through the completion of event challenges. Previous examples of this include the Mumen Rider Soldier: 76 from One Punch Man, the Fawksey James Junrat from LE SSERAFIM, and the Ein Wrecking Ball from Cowboy Bebop. If the Overwatch collab follows this same route, then Tracer Deku is by far the most likely candidate for the free-to-earn skin, as she is the original face of Overwatch, and Deku is the face/protagonist of My Hero Academia.
