Redditor Calm-Key2837 shared their discovery on r/Overwatch, posting their in-game footage of Bastion's repair arm with the Rikimaru Ramen Legendary skin equipped. The repair arm happens to be shaped like a plastic fork, which lines up with the instant ramen cup noodle-themed design. While Bastion no longer uses the repair arm in the game (his classic Self-Repair ability was removed by Blizzard when it reworked the character for Overwatch 2), the feature is still used in his waving gesture, showing that the team really paid a lot of attention to detail here.
What Overwatch 2 Players Think of Bastion's Rikimaru Ramen Skin
The Rikimaru Ramen skin for Bastion was introduced in Overwatch 2 Season 9 in February 2024, and while it looks good, some players in the Reddit comments had some sharp words to say about the choice. Most of the new skins introduced at the start of the season followed an eldritch horror theme that Blizzard loves evoking in its games, but the Bastion design didn't follow this trend for whatever reason.
