Overwatch 2 has officially revealed the five skins coming in the G.I. Joe collaboration: Snake Eyes Genji, Scarlett Freja, Destro Doomfist, Baroness WIdowmaker, and Cobra Commander Reaper. These cosmetics, along with their associated in-game event, are coming to Overwatch 2 starting July 1.

Though its reveal was a bit quieter than usual, Overwatch 2 recently confirmed a G.I. Joe crossover is coming in Season 17. This major update went live on June 24, meaning information about this collaboration was set to arrive soon.

Now, Overwatch 2 has officially pulled back the curtain on its latest crossover. From July 1 through July 14, G.I. Joe heads to Future Earth, bringing with it five collab skins. Talon operatives Widowmaker, Doomfist, and Reaper transform into Cobra combatants Baroness, Destro, and Cobra Commander respectively, while Genji and Freja team up to represent the Joes as Snake Eyes and Scarlett. As always, these character crossovers come with voice lines, highlight intros, victory poses, and other cosmetics to bring G.I. Joe to life in Overwatch 2.

All Overwatch 2 x G.I. Joe Collaboration Skins

  • Baroness Widowmaker
  • Scarlett Freja
  • Destro Doomfist
  • Cobra Commander Reaper
  • Snake Eyes Genji

While the exact prices of these new G.I. Joe skins have not been formally revealed, they will likely be similar to past Overwatch 2 collaborations. Assuming this is the case, each skin’s bundle will be 2500 Overwatch Coins, while the crossover Mega Bundle will run for 5900 – $25 and $59 respectively. Each bundle will ostensibly include the character’s matching player icons, name cards, victory poses, emotes, highlight intros, voice lines, or sprays.

Fans looking for even more G.I. Joe cosmetics in Overwatch 2 will also be able to participate in an in-game event during the collaboration. Players can complete in-game challenges by playing games in Quick Play, Competitive, or Stadium to earn signature voice lines, sprays, and a weapon charm inspired by G.I. Joe, alongside 25,000 Battle Pass XP to progress through the Season 17 track.

Beyond the G.I. Joe crossover, fans can also pick up some free Loot Boxes in Overwatch 2 right now as well. From now through July 7, players can earn a normal and Epic Loot Box as an Overwatch 2 Twitch Drop to celebrate Season 17, and until July 1, they can earn four more Epic Loot Boxes by completing in-game challenges for the Powered Up event. While external IP collab cosmetics cannot be obtained from these Loot Boxes, World of Warcraft, StarCraft, and Diablo crossover skins all have a chance to drop from them.
