Overwatch 2 Play Like Luka Event Rewards and Challenges

Collaborations are nothing new in Overwatch 2, but the new Play Like Luka event is completely different than anything the game has done before. The Play Like Luka event allows Overwatch 2 players to earn free lootboxes and other rewards themed around NBA all-star Luka Doncic on top of the other new additions in Season 18.

While it may seem like a completely random collab for Overwatch 2 to do, Luka Doncic is actually a very talented Overwatch player. When he's not playing for the Los Angeles Lakers (the Dallas Mavericks still miss you, Luka), he's a top 500 tank player on Overwatch. His favorite hero on the roster is Cassidy, however, which is why the event is plastered with everyone's favorite cowboy. Here are all the free Play Like Luka Overwatch 2 rewards you can earn, including a bunch of free lootboxes.

The Play Like Luka event in Overwatch 2 will last for three weeks, beginning with the launch of Season 18 on Tuesday, August 26 and ending on Tuesday, September 16. You can earn the following rewards by completing challenges in Stadium mode.

To get the important rewards like the free lootboxes, all you have to do is play Overwatch 2 normally. You'll have to play a few Stadium matches to earn the Money Ball Weapon Charm and Sharpshooter 77 Player Title, but the other challenges can be completed in other modes like Quick Play.

It may seem like a huge grind to earn all of the lootboxes, but Stadium matches will significantly speed up your progress since they'll grant double progress. You'll get even more points for each Play Like Luka challenge if you win those Stadium matches, too. With the best Overwatch 2 Stadium builds, it should be a breeze.
