Oddly enough, players have also quickly discovered a new bug that causes any such weapon cosmetic to apply to the cape of Doomfist's Saitama skin, allowing Doomfist mains to don a gold, jade, or Galactic-colored cape. This was recently highlighted in a Reddit post shared by the player TurtleDasher, who included some images that show what Doomfist's cape looks like with each weapon variant equipped.
Overwatch 2 Fans Want This Particular Bug to Stay
It's definitely a strange thing to see, but not nearly the weirdest glitch that players have encountered in Overwatch 2. It's normal for most seasons to launch with some issues, usually minor ones that impact specific hero abilities or cause characters to A-pose by breaking emote animations. Thankfully, Blizzard has developed a track record for pushing out quick fixes following the release of a new season, so any concerning technical issues that players may currently be facing aren't likely to stick around for long.
Similarly, it's quite likely that Blizzard will look into fine-tuning some of the hero perk effects now that the feature is out in the wild.
