Confirmed by Blizzard and Capcom at EVO Japan 2025, a game tournament that has featured Street Fighter 6 for several years, the Overwatch 2 x Street Fighter 6 event begins May 20. This crossover will feature eight colorful new hero skins based on Street Fighter 6 characters: Hanzo as Ryu, Juno as Chun-Li, Kiriko as Juri, Widowmaker as Cammy, Zenyatta as Dhalsim, Soldier: 76 as Guile, Winston as Blanka, and Sigma as M. Bison.

Overwatch 2 x Street Fighter 6 Collab Brings a New Era

In addition to the skins, the event is expected to include other themed cosmetics such as sprays and emotes. According to Blizzard, there will not only be in-game purchases but also random items. Pricing hasn't been revealed, but considering previous collab skins in Overwatch 2, the prices are likely to land at around 1,800 to 2,000 Coins for skins and 2,500 for bundles. There might also be bigger mega bundles for better value, but at a higher cost.

The inclusion of Street Fighter characters might bring a shift in Blizzard's approach to collaborations.
