Overwatch 2 recently shared another batch of new hero skin concepts in some player surveys. From High Fashion Mafia and Monster School skins to Cyber Angels and Holographic Goths, these Overwatch 2 cosmetic concepts would be great additions to the game.

Since December 2023, Overwatch 2 has sent out player surveys full of concept art for hero skins that are being considered every few months. This not only gives Blizzard the chance to see what cosmetics fans would be interested in acquiring, but shares some of these ideas with the community ahead of their release.

New Overwatch 2 Skin Concepts from September 2025

Now, another round of survey skins has appeared online. Collected by Overwatch Cavalry and shared together on Reddit by OW2 player CosmiqCowboy, over 40 skin concepts can be found in a new batch of surveys from September 2025. These cosmetics are spread out across 10 different themes, including High Fashion Mafia, Retro Cute, Fairytale Warriors, Futuristic Hospital, Fall Fashion, and more.

While there is no guarantee any of these cosmetics will ever actually make it into the game, there is precedent for Overwatch 2 to turn survey skin concepts into reality. The Norse Mythology skins from Season 14, the Demon Rock Band skins from Season 16, 8-bit skins from Overwatch 2 Season 17, and even the summer and flower-themed skins from this season were all first found in surveys. That said, it is usually a year or more before survey skins make their way into the game, so fans probably won’t find any cosmetics from this set any earlier than summer 2026.

This is the third survey of its kind to appear this year, with new ones appearing approximately every two to five months. While it is technically possible players could see a fourth survey come out before the new year, it is more likely that the next one will show up in Overwatch 2 in early 2026. Fans should keep an eye out for more of these cosmetic concepts around this time.

Meanwhile, Overwatch 2 players have plenty to look forward to in the game right now as well. Season 18 just dropped on August 26, adding a new support hero named Wuyang, a major refresh to the Perks system, and several in-game events, including an Overwatch 2 x NBA crossover with Luka Doncic that offers 77 free Loot Boxes. With one more hero releasing in Season 20 later this year, gamers should have no shortage of excitement to fill the months before more survey skins could appear.
