Beyond that, Overwatch 2 players will also be able to use their Overwatch Coins to purchase new skins from the in-game shop to unlock a vast array of cosmetics beyond the battle pass offerings.RELATED: Overwatch 2 Clip Highlights Brilliant Orisa Capture the Flag Strategy The Overwatch Twitter account recently shared a clip of the Overwatch 2 Season 3 control map Antarctic Peninsula which is cluttered with penguins and will be introduced in the near future. The teaser for Season 3 shows what appears to be a spawn room before rotating around a capture point that has three buildings surrounding a flag pole. The video then shows one of the lanes that Overwatch 2 fans may have to travel down to capture another objective that is underneath an elevated platform that may allow some players to defeat enemies below in the battle for victory.

Another lane of the Overwatch 2 map is spotlighted in the next frame of the clip which continues to emphasize the glacial nature of the location, and there are penguins hidden in different spots along the way. The final moments of the video highlights a big green building along the arctic coast that's home to the penguins which seems to feature the other team's spawn room. Similar to the launch of Overwatch 2 and its second season, Season 3 will get a reveal trailer which was confirmed by Activision Blizzard for February 6.

Given that Overwatch 2 Season 3 hasn't received its full reveal trailer, Activision Blizzard fans will have to wait a few days to get the full details from the developer. Because other seasons have included unique Overwatch 2 cosmetics that were available for a limited time, and a battle pass that has included playable heroes in the past, Season 3 may provide plenty of excuses for lapsed players to return to the game.

Overwatch 2 is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
