Blizzard has officially unveiled what all four Overwatch 2 Transformers skins look like in-game. With Overwatch 2, Blizzard has started following in the footsteps of other live-service games by hosting special crossover events. Multiple crossovers have been featured in the game so far, with Overwatch 2 adding skins based on One-Punch Man, Cowboy Bebop, and even Porsche.
The latest Overwatch 2 crossover is arguably its most exciting yet. It was recently confirmed that Overwatch 2 would be crossing over with Transformers, with four skins added to the hero shooter based on the mega-popular media franchise. Blizzard released an animated trailer showcasing the new Transformers skins, a throwback to the latter's roots as a Saturday morning cartoon. The trailer revealed the designs for the Overwatch 2 x Transformers skins, but now fans have been treated to in-game screenshots that show the skins in all their glory.
The Overwatch 2 x Transformers event will see the addition of Optimus Prime Reinhardt, Megatron Ramattra, Arcee Illari, and Bumblebee Bastion. The skins are highly-detailed and do a fantastic job of recreating the Transformers characters they're based on. The Optimus Prime Reinhardt skin is particularly impressive, though the Bumblebee Bastion will likely be a must-have for many fans as well. Pricing information is unavailable at the time of this writing, but since the collab is going live later today, fans won't have to wait much longer to find out exactly how much the Overwatch 2 Transformers skins cost.

The Overwatch 2 x Transformers collab will allow players to buy each skin individually, but players will also have the option of getting them all together as part of the Mega Bundle. There will be free rewards available as part of the event as well, including Transformers-themed player icons, name cards, and titles, though they have yet to be revealed. The Transformers event will be live in Overwatch 2 until July 22, so anyone interested will want to make sure they load up the game between now and then.
The Transformers event isn't the only reason for Overwatch 2 fans to be excited. July 9 also marks the start of the annual Summer Games event, which includes limited-time game modes and summer-themed skins. Looking ahead, there's also the New Quickplay: Hacked Pickable Passive coming on July 15, plus the first-ever Overwatch 2 Mythic Weapon on July 23 in the form of the Mythic Bound Demon Reinhardt Weapon Skin.
