Learning how to mine properly in Palia will make a world of a difference, since the items you receive from mining will be required for you to make basic creations on your farm, like a Campfire, a Prep Station for cooking, a new Standard Axe, and much more. As you level up, you'll be able to unlock stronger Picks that can mine higher-quality stones.

Where to Find Palium Ore in Palia
Although Palium Ore is quite rare in Palia, there are a few spots on the Bahari Bay map where you can find some pretty consistently. We will show you each of these locations so you can get yourself some Palium Ore with ease and create some new items.
Pavel Mines
For the first stop, we will be visiting the Pavel Mines. You can find this on the Bahari Bay map, in the southwestern section. You can find it just below the Flooded Fortress. When you enter the mines from below, you'll want to head inside, and then make your way up the wooden staircase in front of you. There should be Palium Ore on the second floor.
Bahari Central Stables
Next, we will be heading towards the Bahari Central Stables near Proudhorn Pass in Bahari Bay. From the map image shown above, you will want to head east from the stables until you reach a small cave-like area with a geyser in the middle. Step on top of this to reach the top of the mountain, and you'll be able to find some Palium Ore on the cliff edges.
Flooded Fortress
For the last spot, we will be visiting the Flooded Fortress, found northwest of the Pavel Mines, where you can also grab some Juniper Seeds. Inside this area, you will want to head towards the southwest cliffsides, marked on the first map image above. You can also head to the cliffsides on the other side of the fortress, towards the north, as shown in the second map image above. There will be a few pieces of Palium Ore here.

How to Mine Palium Ore in Palia
Before searching these locations that have Palium Ore, you will first need to make sure you have the right materials to get the item. In order to mine some Palium Ore, here is what you'll need:
- You must have a Fine Pick or Exquisite Pick to mine Palium Ore.
- You must be at least mining level 6 for Palium Ore to appear.
As long as you meet these requirements, you should be able to spot some Palium Ore and mine them for yourself. Although you can use a Fine Pick to get some Palium Ore, keep in mind that it will be much faster and easier with an Exquisite Pick. If you want to upgrade your mining level, start by mining through some stones and copper outside your farm.
