The hunt for Prismbeard's treasure continues in Palia's The True Treasure quest. It's another Discovery Quest in the Prismbeard Treasure questline that reveals more about the legendary, geometric-bearded pirate's backstory and leads to some bountiful rewards. However, it can be a tricky and lengthy quest to complete, with numerous riddles to solve and locations to find across the Elderwood map.

Palia: The True Treasure Quest Guide
How To Start The True Treasure in Palia
To start The True Treasure in Palia, you must first complete the preceding two quest s in Prismbeard Treasure's questline introduced in Palia's Radiance Rising update, as follows:
- Adventure On the Horizon
- Prismbeard's Lost Treasure
The True Treasure quest unlocks as soon as you complete Prismbeard's Lost Treasure, continuing the search for the mysterious pirate fortune. Completing The True Treasure in Palia involves following and ticking off the objectives below, beginning with a chat with Caleri, the local librarian:
Ask Caleri About Prismbeard, Then Return To Auni and Nai'o
The first objective in The True Treasure is to ask Caleri about Prismbeard, who Auni and Nai'o think could know more about Prismbeard's life. If you're already at Elderwood, you can use one of Elderwood's fast travel stables to return to Kilima Village to find Caleri, who you can sometimes, but not always, see in the Library Restricted Section next to the Furniture Store. Doing so gives you a set of Prismbeard Newspaper Clippings with clues about his life, which you'll need to refer to in solving the quest's various riddles to find each Prismbeard statue in the treasure trail.
To check and read the Newspaper Clippings from Caleri again, click the exclamation mark in your inventory to access the Quest Pouch. If playing Palia on a PC, press the right mouse button to select the 'Read' option, enabling you to refer back to the clippings any time you need to check the information. These give you details about Prismbeard's life, plus pictures of different locations across the Elderwood map where you can find Prismbeard statues that give you a clue to the next statue location.
Before embarking on Palia' s The True Treasure quest, it's also best to check if you have the Pirate Spyglass equipped from Prismbeard's Lost Treasure quest. This is because it reveals each Prismbeard statue and the strange, purple patterns that surround them. If you unequip the Spyglass, you won't be able to see either the statues or their purple trails.
Where To Find Prismbeard's Childhood Home
The first riddle, marking the beginning of the treasure hunt, is to find Prismbeard's childhood home. Page one of the Newspaper Clippings tells you that Prismbeard was 'born and raised in the forest just outside of Zendruu Outpost.' Additionally, page two also shows a picture of the shack where Prismbeard and his brother grew up.
If you're familiar with the Elderwood map, you'll note that Zendruu Way is an area that leads to Mauvais Way. Starting at the Elderwood Central Stables, follow the Red Blossom Cave tunnels until you reach the cliffs at point A-4 on the map, where you can find a Prismbeard Statue on the cliffs as shown in the video below. Interact with the statue to reveal the next clue, then speak with Auni nearby to discuss it, indicating the next step is to find where Prismbeard sailed his first ship:
After interacting with each Prismbeard statue, you'll need to locate and speak with Auni, Palia's resident Bug Catcher, to report what you've found, who will be standing not far from each statue with Nai'o. After doing so, the quest updates with the next objective in the treasure hunt. Although you might stumble across the statues randomly, you also need to interact with them in the correct order.
How To Find Where Prismbeard Sailed His First Ship
To find where Prismbeard sailed his first ship, you need to search for a small pond with a wooden dock, as shown in the photo on page four of the Newspaper Clippings. Specifically, you can find it at point F-6 on the Elderwood map between Red Blossom Cave and Lilac Cavern, as shown in the video below. Once again, interact with the Prismbeard statue on the dock, then speak to Auni to get the next clue, which means to look for where Prismbeard first set sail.
Palia: Complete Answering The Call Quest Guide
Answering the Call is a new main story quest that came with Palia’s Elderwood expansion. Here’s how to finish it quickly.
How To Find Where Prismbeard First Set Sail
To find where Prismbeard first set sail, head to point B-8 on the Elderwood map at De Mer Dock, as hinted at on pages five and six of the Newspaper Clippings. If you travel straight to De Mer Dock stables, you can find the Prismbeard statue just left of the De Mer Dock fast travel location.
As before, interact with the statue, then talk to Auni, who you can find standing with Nai'o just in front of the docks.
How To Find Where Prismbeard Was Caught
The next step is to find where Prismbeard was caugh t, which is located at point F-4 on the walkways above the Elderwood Central Stables. This is hinted at on pages seven and eight of the Newspaper Clippings. You can reach the Prismbeard statue there by climbing the central structure near the Central Stables fast-travel location. Head around the walkway to find the next Prismbeard statue and interact with it, as shown in the video below. Afterward, chat with Auni below to get the next clue to look for, which is where Prismbeard escaped.
How To Find Where Prismbeard Escaped
To find where Prismbeard escaped, the next stop on the list is point G-2 at Mitana Grove, as hinted at in the picture on page 10 of the Newspaper Clippings. Look for the pier at Mitana Grove to find the next Prismbeard Statue on the hexagonal-shaped dock.
Interacting with the statue, followed by speaking with Auni standing nearby, reveals the final location to check - Eobard's Revenge, which is the name of Prismbeard's ship.
Where To Find Eobard's Revenge
Lastly, to find Eobard's Revenge, you need to head back to Shipwreck Cave, which you can find inside the Hidden Cave at point D-8 on the map. To get there quickly, use the Mitana Grove Stables to fast travel to De Mer Dock, then head to the Hidden Cave on the right of the cliffs by the southwest Red Blossom Cave entrance.
Once inside, you can find Prismbeard's Ship overlooking the central Shipwreck Cave area. However, there's another Prismbeard Statue to find located on the steps up the nearby slope, then speak with Auni nearby.
This time, interacting with the statue unlocks the door to the Secret Cave, which is the door surrounded by purple glowing patterns, as pictured above. Head inside the Secret Cave to find the final step in The True Treasure - Prismbeard's final puzzle!

How To Solve Prismbeard's Final Puzzle And The True Treasure Quest Rewards
The final step in The True Treasure quest is to solve Prismbeard's final puzzle inside the Secret Cave doorway you just unlocked. To solve the final puzzle, you must turn each circular dial to display the correct symbol in the right direction, as described in the numbered surrounding scrolls on the ground. Afterward, press the purple button nearby to check your guess, as follows:

If you're unable to loot the treasure chest for any reason, try emptying your inventory bag slots first and, if necessary, reloading the area. Doing so should enable you to loot Prismbeard's treasure chest if you encounter any problems doing so.
