There is a lot of new content to explore in the Palia Elderwood expansion, which has added a whole new map to the game. In this new region, you can explore a multitude of caves, and inside these areas, you will find hidden Umbraan Shrines that require certain items in order to complete an offering.

To unlock these Umbraan Shrines, you will need to obtain some Sacred Flowers. Some Shrines will only require one Sacred Flower, while others will require two. If you are struggling to find the hidden item in Elderwood, here are some of the different methods you can use to obtain them.

Where to Find Umbraan Shrines in Palia

In the new region of Elderwood, which can be found on the western side of Bahari Bay, there are brand-new Umbraan Shrines for you to discover. Usually they are hidden in caves, and they can be difficult to find if you haven't explored the region much yet.

There are a total of 15 Umbraan Shrines spread throughout Elderwood, and they will look like small, gray statues with moss and purple flowers growing on them. In order to use the Sacred Flowers that you obtained, just approach the Umbraan Shrine and choose to offer the required Sacred Flowers, either one or two. You will then receive one of the following:

  • 1 Artifact Mystery Bag
  • 2 Artifact Mystery Bags
  • Starstone Mystery Bag

How to Get Sacred Flowers in Palia

Luckily for those who are on the hunt for some Sacred Flowers, there are a few different methods you can use to get the rare item. If you aren't in the mood to search for the item, too, you can even just purchase them.

The easiest method you can use to get Sacred Flowers is by purchasing them from Tamala's Potion Shop for 350 Infected Essence. You can find Tamala's Potion Shop at the location shown in the first and second images above, located in the Central Stables.

You can also get Sacred Flowers by hunting down Waveback Ogopuus (found in Okanaa Bog) and Piksii Shmoles (found in Red Blossom Cave) in Elderwood. These animals have been depicted in the third and fourth images shown above.

You can also receive Sacred Flowers from a few different quests in the area. Once you've activated all 15 Umbraan Shrines, you will receive the Paying Respects achievement, which will give you a Finishing Runestone and 30 Renown.
