Where to Find Sweet Leaf in Palia

Sweet Leaf can be found in multiple locations, so you can grab a lot of them easily. Here are the details of each method:

Bahari Bay

Bahari Bay is a quiet little region in Palia, located just north of your house. This area has its own map and plenty of wild spots where you can harvest Sweet Leaf. All you need to do is head over there and start foraging. Here are some of the best spots to check:

Ancient Aqueduct
Statue Garden
Flooded Steps
Outskirts
Proudhorn Pass
Thorny Thicket

Once you gather them, the leaves will respawn after a while — so you can always return and restock whenever you’re running low.

Foraging Guild Store

Another way to stock up on Sweet Leaf is by purchasing it from the Foraging Guild Store. This shop is run by Ashura, a friendly NPC you’ll find hanging out in Kilima Valley, which sits opposite Bahari Bay, just south of your house.

Simply head over to Ashura, interact with him, and you’ll be able to buy Sweet Leaf for 10 Foraging Medals each. These medals are earned once you hit Foraging Skill Level 10 and complete the guild’s weekly challenges. If his shop isn’t available yet, just strike up a quick conversation with him — the store will unlock right after the dialogue ends.

Treasure Chests

If you’re wandering around Bahari Bay in Palia, keep an eye out for Treasure Chests — some of these will have Sweet Leaf inside. There are over 30 chests hidden in this area, and they can show up in all sorts of places. You’ll find some on cliffs and platforms, while others are tucked behind waterfalls, campfires, and even random objects. Each chest gives you a handful of Sweet Leaf, along with a mix of other useful resources.

Quest Rewards

You can also earn Sweet Leaf by wrapping up one-time friendship quests, such as Backbone of the Community (Chayne Friendship Level 2) and Quest Item Procurement (Hekla Friendship Level 2). These tasks usually ask you to collect specific items and return them to the NPC, and once done, you’ll get Sweet Leaf as a reward.

Rummage Pile

Lastly, players can also come across Sweet Leaf while searching for Rummage Piles in Palia, though the chances are pretty low. Most of the time, these piles reward other materials or trigger small side quests. You can spot Rummage Piles (which look like stacks of leaves and wood) around random spots in both Bahari Bay and Kilima Valley.
