Where To Find Enchanted Pupfish In Palia

One of the best places to find Enchanted Pupish in Palia is in Fisherman's Lagoon by Kilima Lake. Stand on the dock near where Einar usually stands, and fish in the small lagoon. You might also find Enchanted Pupfish around other parts of Kilima Lake, the stretch of water surrounding the southern part of Kilima Village map. However, the Fisherman's Lagoon is usually the best place to start. Kilima Lake is also the only fishing spot in Palia where you can find Enchanted Pupfish, making them quite a rare catch compared to other fish species.

Like Palia's Yellow Perch, you can find Enchanted Pupfish at any time of day, so there's no need to worry about whether you need to fish during day or night hours. However, there is a bit of necessary preparation to ensure the best chances of catching Enchanted Pupfish.

How To Catch Enchanted Pupfish In Palia

To catch Enchanted Pupfish, you must attach some of Palia's Glow Worms to your fishing rod. You can buy Glow Worms from Einar once you reach level 10 in fishing. However, it's much quicker to unlock and purchase a Glow Worm Farm from Einar's shop once you reach fishing level 7. You must also have 2,000 gold to buy it, plus the following resources:

12 Flow-Infused Planks
3 Iron Bars
6 Leather
8 Stone Bricks

Enchanted Pupfish in Palia are small, speedy critters that can easily evade a Makeshift or Standard Fishing Rod. Therefore, it's best to prepare by crafting, at minimum, a Fine Fishing Rod. You can buy the crafting recipe from Einar for 1,500 gold and craft it from 5 Iron bars, 10 Heartwood Planks, and a Standard Fishing Rod. Using a higher-level Rod like the Fine Fishing Rod makes it easier to catch Enchanted Pupfish with its increased line health.

It's also worth noting that you can fish anywhere in Fisherman's Lagoon to catch Enchanted Pupfish, so you don't need to worry about fishing in ripples. However, they may take some time to spawn, so be prepared to catch other species of fish first, such as Alligator Gar and Striped Sturgeon.
