Since there are nine different types, each with a vast array of Pals to capture, and with Palworld being an open-world game, there are numerous locations in which grass-types can be caught. Some locations are better than others, with most grass-types appearing in areas together. As a result, there are locations where grass-types are in abundance, or areas where powerful grass-types dwell. Knowing these locations can be extremely beneficial to progression in Palworld.

6 North Bamboo Groves

Excellent Mounts And Early-Game Pals

This location, around the Deep Bamboo Thicket fast travel point, hosts a collective of different grass-types, each with their own unique uses. Mammorest is one of the best Pals for riding due to its Mount Partner Skill that improves the logging and ore mining capabilities of the player while mounted. Lifmunk is also one of the best early-game Pals available.

However, none of these Pals are the best of the grass-types. While they have their uses, and this location is filled with a good selection of grass Pals, players who have progressed further in the game should look to other areas.

5 Moonless Shore

A Variety Of Combat And Work Pals

All around the Moonless Shore, players can find grass-types roaming around. Given this is quite a large area, it offers a good distinctiveness between the Pals available.

Palworld: Best Locations For Catching Fire Pals

Fire Pals are found in warmer areas of the map, especially near lava. That said, some Palworld locations are home to more Fire Pals than others.

Robinquil is a strong Pal and is worth the effort of catching it. Despite this, the other Pals found in this area are not as strong comparatively. Cinnamoth, for example, is noted as being one of the worst Pals for combat. Some of these Pals are better suited for work on a base, with Flopie possessing a large array of Work Suitabilities that make catching one worthwhile.

4 Windswept Hills

An Excellent Mid-Game Grass-Type Location

By far one of the most highly-concentrated areas for grass-types in Palworld, the Windswept Hills don't offer any crazy powerful Pals. The location sits in the middle ground, and is worthwhile due to the variety of grass-type Pals that can be caught, but is not a must-visit area, as none of the best grass-types appear here.

Some Pals are valuable due to how good their Partner Skills for farming can be, such as Caprity, while Gumoss is sought after because of the eponymous Gumoss Leaf, an item that can create unique clothes.

3 No. 1 Wildlife Sanctuary And No. 3 Wildlife Sanctuary

Some Of The Game's Best Grass-Types Reside HereAvailable Pals:

While very awkward to navigate, these two Wildlife Santuaries offer incredible Pals. No. 1 Wildlife Sanctuary hosts Vaelet and Petallia, while No. 3 Wildlife Sanctuary offers Lyleen.

Lyleen is often considered as one of the best grass-type Pals available, is great for Work Suitability, and is a great choice for a healer. Vaelet and Petallia are solid options for Pals as well and shouldn't be ignored. Vaelet is another Pal that possesses an array of Work Suitabilities that can make it worthwhile to put one on a base. Petallia also has a good number of Work Suitabilites and can make for another good healer.

2 Verdant Brook

One Of The Best Grass-Type Pals Wanders Here

Available Pals:

Within the Verdant Brook (and around the Frostbound Mountains), Mossandra can be found, widely considered as one of the best grass-type Pals available. It is a valuable Pal both in and out of combat, with a great Partner Skill, and plenty of Work Suitabilites to help out on a base.

Elizabee is also a very good Pal to acquire, and is a solid option for both combat and base work. Beegarde is the only Pal here that is less powerful, but still useful nonetheless, with many Work Suitabilities that can be valuable to the player.

1 No. 2 Wildlife Sanctuary

No. 2 Wildlife Sanctuary features one of the best Pals in the game, Warsect, who has often been referred to as the best grass-type in Palworld. Warsect is one of the best Pals for combat, with its Partner Skill increasing defense and fire resistance. It can also use some of the most damaging abilities in the game.

Wumpo Botan is another great Pal, most competent with base work and with a number of Work Suitabilities. Verdash is a varied Pal, offering skills in both combat and on a base with its useful Partner Skills and Work Suitabilities.
