Hartalis is a new raid boss introduced in Palworld's Home Sweet Home update. It can only be fought by summoning it, and upon being defeated, it will drop an egg, allowing players to hatch their own Hartalis. This is an incredibly strong Neutral Pal, so players won't want to miss out on recruiting a Hartalis to be their mount, worker, or companion in fights.

Where To Find Hartalis Slab Fragments In Palworld
To summon a Hartalis, players will need a Hartalis Slab, but for this, they need 4 Hartalis Slab Fragments.
These can be found randomly inside dungeon chests and cave chests. Fragments are also rewards for some expeditions.
Hartalis Slab Fragments From The Crystalized Tunnel
If players go to the coordinates -947, -1317, they will be at the entrance to the Crystalized Tunnel. There are a few high-level Pals outside, but they will stop chasing after a while of walking through the cave.
There is no boss at the end, just a friendly NPC. More importantly, there are two purple chests in the back corners. These have a chance to contain Hartalis Slab Fragments or other fragments.
Other Hartalis Slab Fragment Locations
Other locations to find Hartalis Slab Fragments include Feybreak dungeons, and on Sakurajima, players may come across large chests within enemy bases.
Hartalis Slab Fragments From Expeditions
For those who have bought a Pal Expedition Station at their base and unlocked some of the later Expeditions, it's possible to earn some Hartalis Slab Fragments via these.
The bottom two Expeditions, Moonflower's Secret Hideout and Ancient Feybreak Remains, each reward a single Hartalis Slab Fragment.
If players don't want to rely on luck, they could always download the Creative Menu mod from the Steam Workshop. This allows players to easily spawn any item.
How To Make A Hartalis Slab In Palworld
Once players have collected 4 Hartalis Slab Fragments, they can head to their base and at a Production Assembly Line or Basic Workbench, it's possible to craft a Hartalis Slab from the fragments.
It will take a while to manufacture, so make sure you have a good handiwork pal to help speed up the crafting process.

Summoning & Defeating Hartalis In Palworld
Players will need a Summoning Altar in their base to summon a Hartalis Raid Boss. Walk up to the Altar and Offer Slab and select the Hartalis Slab made earlier.
However, players will only want to do this when they are ready for combat. Players also get to choose whether they summon the boss to their base or a Raid Area. Pals can be called to fight in the Raid Area, so to avoid damage to your base, it's best to head off to a Raid Area.
Players will then have 5 minutes to summon the boss, during which time they can use the Palbox to assign Pals to the 'base', all of whom will help in the fight. Defenses can also be built quickly if players bring resources.
If players die, they can respawn or forfeit, but all offered Slabs will be lost upon giving up.
Hartalis is a Level 65 Raid Boss with 909,000 health with two combat phases, so this should only be attempted by high-level players with the best gear and top-tier combat Pals.
It starts off as Water/Grass Pal, but upon its health reaching zero for the first time, it will heal back fully and become a Neutral Pal. Make sure to have the correct Pals to counter all these types.

Hatching The Hartalis Egg
After defeating both phases of the summoned Hartalis, it should drop an egg. Players can incubate this at base in the usual way to hatch the egg, and before long, they will have their own Hartalis, although this will be a non-Raid Boss version.
Players will then want to unlock the Hartalis Saddle from the Technology tree at Level 65, and then craft it with the following materials to be able to ride Hartalis.
