As you start progressing on the Palpagos Islands of Palworld, you will start leveling up and will unlock a variety of new upgrades, ranging from new armor and Pal Spheres to modern firearms and assembly lines. While all of these features are pretty fun to use, players will sooner or later face a crunch trying to keep up with the requirement of ingots in all the new recipes and buildings.

Towards the endgame, the need for ingots becomes increasingly demanding, sometimes even reaching the staggering count of two hundred. Traveling between ore mining spots can quickly become monotonous and exhausting, too. Luckily, Palworld has added an Ore Mining Site, allowing you to farm ores automatically with the help of your pals. In this guide, players can learn how to unlock the Ore Mining Site in Palworld, discover the materials required to build it, and figure out the best pals for mining ore.

How to Unlock the Ore Mining Site in Palworld

In Palworld, the Ore Mining Site is unlockable after reaching level 15. To unlock it, you will need to go to the Technology tab and spend two Ancient Technology points on the Ore Mining Site. If you are lacking Ancient Technology points, you can get them by defeating bosses like Alpha Pals and clearing Syndicate Towers. You might also get lucky and find Ancient Technology Manuals from loot chests found throughout the open world and in dungeons.

There is also a larger variant of the Ore Mining Site unlockable at level 31 for three Ancient Technology points. You can have three pals working at the Ore Mining Site II to quickly mine more ore.

For the Ore Mining Site, you should look for pals with a high-level Mining skill (denoted by a pickaxe symbol). With Level 4 Mining skill, Astegon and Blazamut stand out as the best mining pals in Palworld. Blazamut also comes with level 3 Kindling skill to help you turn mined ores into ingots. Players can only use Anubis who only has a level 3 Mining skill. This pal's smaller size and movement speed are high, giving it an edge over giant pals like Astegon and Blazamut.
