There's a large tech tree in Palworld that'll have players careening through technological eras. While you do start with basic stone equipment, you'll eventually find yourself armed to the teeth with modern firearms.
Some Pokemon Fans Are Not Happy About Palworld
A vocal portion of the Pokemon fandom takes to social media to share some harsh opinions about Palworld, the latest day-one Xbox Game Pass title.
The whole Pokemon with guns thing has sort of become Palworld's identity, and many players are probably wondering when they can get their hands on a rifle of their own. This short guide covers how to make guns and bullets as well as some other important crafting and gathering information.
How to Craft Guns and Ammo
The first gun you and your friends can encounter in Palworld is the basic Musket, which packs a stronger punch and lengthier reload time compared to the Crossbow. You can unlock this along with the crafting specs for Coarse Ammo and Gunpowder once you reach Level 21. You'll need a High Quality Workbench to make Gunpowder and a Weapon Workbench for guns and ammo. As you level up, you'll unlock more schematics for guns, bullets, and workbenches. The Palworld Assault Rifle, for example, is unlocked at Level 45, and it can only be made at a Weapon Line Factory using advanced crafting materials.
As far the Musket and its ammo are concerned, you'll need the following to craft them:

Ingots are refined from the Ore you get from mining ore deposits while High Quality Pal Oil can be gathered by knocking out Pals like Mammorest and Woolipop. The former is a Level 35 found in the starting island, while the latter can be found in the Bamboo Groves west of the Ravine Entrance fast travel point.
Charcoal is made by incinerating wood in a Primitive Furnace with the help of a Foxpark or other Fire-type Pal with the Kindling ability. Meanwhile, Sulfur can be found inside dungeons. You can find dungeon entrances along the sides of caves or rocky outcrops. The sulfur nodes themselves resemble regular ore deposits, albeit yellowish in color.
If you really need to fight something with a gun, you can craft Pal Gear for Lifmunk and Tanzee, which unlocks their special Partner Skills. The Lifmunk upgrade lets you put your active Lifmunk on your head, and it'll start shooting its submachine gun as you hold down your fire button. Meanwhile, Tanzee's upgrade lets it enter gunner mode, letting it shoot enemies freely with an AK47 assault rifle.
