As you progress in Palworld, you can unlock new blueprints that will allow you to greatly improve your base, and one such blueprint is for the
Stone Pit. Thanks to this construction, you can significantly optimize Stone mining, making it a passive process and saving time on farming this resource.
Essentially, this structure functions by making your Pals do all the work for you. While they harvest Stone, you can do other more important things.
Palworld: How To Move Items
Moving items in Palworld can be tricky since there is no way to move items manually. You will have to complete some extra steps to reposition an item.
How to Make Stone Pit in Palworld
To unlock the option to make a Stone Pit, you'll need to learn it in the technology tab:
- First, you need to reach level 7. Usually, you can reach it very quickly as you will get a lot of XP in the early game. However, if your current level is not enough, we recommend that you spend time killing enemies and catching new Pals.
- As you grind your level, you'll likely receive Technology Points, so don't rush to spend those, as unlocking the Stone Pit blueprint will require two of them.
- When you reach the level, spend 2 Technology Points for a Stone Pit blueprint. You can do this by finding the Stone Pit option in the Technology tab, which can be accessed by opening your inventory.
Once you've unlocked the Stone Pit blueprint, it's time to add this stone farm to your base. However, the blueprint alone won't be enough to build this structure; you'll need to get the following resources to do so:
- 10 Paldium Fragment
- 20 Wood
- 50 Stone
As soon as you have all the materials you need, you should return your base. Once there, open the Production tab and find the Stone Pit option. To set up the structure, you'll need to place it and then hold down the build button until it's ready. You'll also do it faster if you have Pals nearby to help you.
When you build a Stone Pit, you may be disappointed because it won't produce Stones by itself right away. So, to finally start benefiting from this structure, let's talk more about how to use it.
Palworld: How to Make an Ore Farm
Throughout the game, you'll always need ore to craft many items and structures, and here we'll show you how to make an Ore farm in Palworld.
How to Use Stone Pit in Palworld
Like most other constructions in the game, for Stone Pit to work, you will need to attach Pals to it. Since the functionality of Stone Pit is related to mining, the Pals that will do the work should have the Mining trait.
For example, Cattiva would be a good option, as they do this job very well, and you can find and catch them very early in the game. If you already have a Pal with this trait, then it's a piece of cake. Open your Palbox, and move the Pals you want to use for mining from Storage to the Pals at the base section.
