How To Catch Pals in Palworld

In Palworld, catching Pals is quite similar to how players catch Pokemon. Instead of Pokeballs, players will need a special item called a Pal Sphere to catch Pals.

Before they can start crafting Pal Spheres, players need to reach level two and gather the necessary crafting materials:

1 Paldium Fragment
3 Wood
3 Stone

Players can also find and collect Pal Spheres lying on the ground throughout the map.

Once they’ve crafted a Pal Sphere, players need to simply throw it at a Pal by pressing the Q button on their keyboard. Holding down the Q key also gives players information about how likely they are to catch the Pal if they throw a sphere.

If players successfully capture a Pal, they are added to their party or sent back to the Palbox in their base if the party is full. On the other hand, if they throw a Pal Sphere and fail to catch the Pal, the sphere is destroyed and players will have to try again.

However, players should be careful that they don’t kill the creature, as it’s not possible to catch Pals that are dead or unconscious.

Use Better Pal Spheres

The basic model of Pal Spheres is only effective when catching low-level Pals. As such, players should bring along better spheres, like the Mega Sphere, to increase their chances of success. These may be harder to get early on but are worth waiting for.
