How to Find Kelpsea in Palworld

Palworld: Kelpsea spawn locations on the map

While traveling around Palworld, you may come across Kelpsea habitats near the center, as well as in the west of the map. In the central part of the Palpagos Islands, aim for such a location as Ravine Entrance, or areas near Azurobe Hill and Deep Bamboo Thicket fast travel points, which are located in the west of the islands. As a Water type Pal, you can find Kelpsea in various bodies of water.

Before going on a Kelpsea hunt, we recommend that you prepare well by upgrading your weapons and armor, and bring along Electric Type Pals to help you.

How to Catch Kelpsea in Palworld

If you already have experience catching Pals, then getting Kelpsea should be pretty easy. However, if you are having trouble with this process, then here are the detailed steps on how to do it:

Have enough Pal Spheres to be prepared for the possibility that you won't manage to catch Kelpsea on your first try. You can significantly increase your chances of success by using Mega Spheres.
Go to one of the water bodies in the Kelpsea habitats and find the Pal you want to catch.
Once you have found Kelpsea, your job is to deal as much damage to it as possible without letting the creature die. Since it is a Water type Pal, you can effectively use Electric element Pals against it, but again, be careful that your creatures do not kill Kelpsea.
When Kelpsea's health bar is as low as it can go, throw a Pal or Mega Sphere at it. If you don't catch it right away, try to deal some more damage if it is possible. If that's not an option, keep throwing Spheres until you are successful.
Don't forget that you can ask your friends to help you by going on a hunt for Kelpsea in multiplayer co-op.
