Palworld: How to Find and Catch Penking

Penking is a cute and very useful Pal that will come in handy for both base routine and battles. In Paldeck, its number is 11, and it is an evolution of Pengullet, a common penguin that you could meet in the initial locations. We found three ways you can find and catch Penking in Palworld, and even as an absolute beginner, you have a chance to get this Pal.

Depending on your progression, you can choose the way that suits you best, so let's talk about them in more detail.

Visit the Spawning Area

Unlike its previous form, Pengullet, it is almost impossible to find Penking from the start. Paying attention to the screenshot above, you will see the location where this Pal spawns, namely a round island in the southeast. When you visit this location, you will definitely meet several Pals of this species, on average of level 25.

Find the Dungeon With the Boss

In addition to this, you can meet Penking in the dungeon as a boss. This dungeon is located in the heart of the map, you can see the exact location in the screenshot above. Here, you will have to fight Penking, a level 15 boss, and several Pengullets minions. The battle is quite difficult, as the Pengullets are constantly spamming with ice attacks that can deal decent damage or even freeze you or your Pals.

Hatch From an Egg

An alternative for absolute beginners is to look for a Large Damp Egg. In our case, we got our first Penking this way in the early game. If you're not high enough level or don't have the right weapon to defeat the boss, this is the perfect option for you. When the Large Damp Egg is found, place it in the Egg Incubator and wait 40 minutes. After that, hatch the egg, and maybe the Pal that will be born from it will be Penking.

Palworld: How to Catch Penking

Finding a Penking is half the work, the next challenge is to catch the Pal. Before you go into battle and attack the enemy, you should carefully study it and find its weaknesses. In this case, these are Penking elements, unlike most other Pals, he has two of them: Ice and Water. In this case, you will need to bring Pals with Fire or Electricity elements because they dominate over those in Penking. Also, take a weapon for yourself, such as a Fire Bow or a Fire Crossbow to dominate the enemy with the element.

Also, don't forget about Pal Spheres. You can take a few advanced spheres to increase your chances, but you can catch Penking with standard ones, with several or even one attempt.

The rest is easy, reduce the boss's health bar as low as possible and throw your Pal Spheres at him. You may have to spend a few of them, but sooner or later, you will definitely catch Penking.
