Palworld is beginning to roll out raid boss battles, delivering its first one since launch with Bellanoir, a dark-type Pal. Everyone will be able to band together with other players to take down Bellanoir in a raid boss battle, with the chance to acquire this unique Pal, among other items. Taking it down will be no easy feat, so bringing the best weapons available and strong Pals is ideal.
Palworld: How to Catch & Breed Flambelle
Flambelle is one of the best Fire Type Pals to acquire as a Base worker during the early to mid game in Palworld.
As part of the new Palworld update, the raid boss battle featuring Bellanoir was a massive addition to the game. Players have been looking for a reason to jump back into the world of Palworld, and raid battles are an excellent source of interest. Starting a raid battle with Bellanoir will require gathering some items, unlocking a special tool in the Technology tab, and preparing for one of the toughest battles in the game.
How To Find Bellanoir In Raid Battles
Find Bellanoir Slab Fragments And Build Bellanoir Slabs
The first thing to acquire when considering the idea of taking on Bellanoir is the Bellanoir Slab Fragment. These items can be found in dungeons as a special reward for taking down a Dungeon Alpha Pal and reaching the end of the maze. Players have a chance of opening one of the two purple chests to discover a Bellanoir Slab Fragment, though the odds of finding one are pretty low, meaning Palworld players will have to re-roll dungeons consistently.
These specialty items can only be found in dungeons featuring a Level 40 Alpha Dungeon Boss, and even then, they're not guaranteed to drop. Entering these dungeons at a higher level with a few strong Pals and good weapons and armor will help increase the chances of securing those treasure chests.
One Bellanoir Slab requires four Bellanoir Slab Fragments and must be created using a Production Assembly Line II. This device can be unlocked after reaching Player Level 28 and using three Technology Points. To build the Production Assembly Line II, 100 Refined Ingots, 10 Circuit Boards, and 30 Nails are needed.
Palworld: Items You Should Not Sell To Merchants
Plenty of items in Palworld can be sold for some extra cash, but these ones are worth keeping -- or simply not worth selling.
Build Summoning Alter
Once players have secured their Bellanoir Slab, it's time to create a Summoning Alter. Players must reach Level 33 to unlock this device and have some Ancient Technology Points ready, as it takes three to make one Summoning Alter. Once unlocked, it takes 100 stones and 20 Paldium Fragments to build.
Ancient Technology Points can only be earned by defeating the many Palworld Syndicate bosses stationed in the towers scattered around the map. Unlike most items in the Ancient Technology section, Summoning Alters don't take Ancient Civilization Parts, making this instrument easier to construct.
Best Equipment And Pals To Bring
Once the Summoning Alter is secured and the Bellanoir Slab is ready for use, it's time to call upon Bellanoir and enter the raid battle. Summoning Bellanoir at the base can be dangerous, as it will destroy anything in its path, so it's best to summon Bellanoir to an empty base. Furthermore, come prepared with the best weapons and Pals, as this opponent will be challenging to take down.
-
Gun Option 1 -
Assault Rifle
: This impactful gun unlocks at Player Level 45 and uses Assault Rifle Ammo. It is the best weapon to use for this fight, as its rapid-fire ability will have players chipping away at Bellanoir's health from a distance.
-
Gun Option 2 -
Rocket Launcher: This explosive weapon unlocks at Player Level 49. For players looking to cause massive damage while their Pals hold the fort, the Rocket Launcher is an excellent alternative to the Assault Rifle.

The Best Pals To Bring:
Jetragon,
Jormuntide Ignis,
Jormuntide,
Orserk,
Astegon,
Quivern,
Relaxaurus Lux,
Chillet, or any other Dragon-type Pal.
Since the raid battle occurs back at base, players should send out the maximum number of Pals that the Palbox allows for. It's also important to remember that should the Palbox be destroyed, the Pals involved in battle will disappear. Protect the Palbox by building layers of strong walls around it. Bellanoir can also destroy the Summoning Alter, so keep that safe too.
