Summary

  • Shadowbeak's Dark-type skills make it a top contender despite limited coverage, excelling in combat scenarios.
  • Blazamut's volcanic prowess and balanced abilities make it a formidable Fire-type Pal, dominating Ice-type foes.
  • Orserk's Electric-Dragon combo unleashes devastating AoE damage, outpacing rivals with its raw power and skills.

The rise of Palworld has been meteoric, but it's no mystery why it resonates with so many fans, as it offers a blend of two beloved video game elements: guns and cool monsters (also known as "Pals"). The game features a vast open world that's full of life, hosting all sorts of unique Pals that come with different strengths and weaknesses.

Palworld: 10 Best Pals To Use Legendary Spheres On

Making Legendary Spheres is a challenge, so players need to ensure they don't waste them. The following Pals justify the use of a Legendary Sphere.

Every Palworld player aims to find and capture the strongest Pals. But given the immense power of many Pals, there's a lot of competition for the title of the strongest. However, a select few Pals stand far above the competition due to their exceptional damage output and incredible abilities, solidifying their status as the most lethal creatures in the game.

8 Shadowbeak

Base Attack: 120, Full Attack: 1976

Shadowbeak from Palworld
  • Element Type: Dark
  • Base HP: 120
  • Base Defense: 140
  • Location: No. 3 Wildlife Sanctuary

Shadowbeak is the quintessential Dark-type Pal in Palworld. This Flying mount possesses a myriad of strengths, including an amazing stat spread, highly powerful Active Skills, and a Passive Skill that increases the player's Dark Damage. These attributes empower Shadowbeak to perform exceptionally well in combat, overpowering most of the other Dark-types.

The only weakness Shadowbeak has is its poor type coverage, as it almost exclusively relies on Dark-type Skills. That said, this weakness isn't all that worrisome, as its strengths completely compensate for it, making Shadowbeak a danger to most Pals, regardless of their Element type.

7 Blazamut

Base Attack: 125, Full Attack: 2046

  • Element Type: Fire
  • Base HP: 100
  • Base Defense: 120
  • Location: Scorching Mineshaft

With Fire being arguably the best Element type in the game, many of the Fire-type Pals in Palworld are lethal creatures. However, it's almost impossible to rival the power of Blazamut, a Pal that literally uses a volcano as its resting spot.

Blazamut is one of the best Ground Mounts in the game, having incredibly high melee damage, complemented by good type coverage through its Active Skills, and a formidable Partner Skill. These attributes make Blazamut a well-balanced Pal that can shred through most of its competition, especially Ice-types.

6 Orserk

Base Attack: 130, Full Attack: 2115

  • Element Type: Electric and Dragon
  • Base HP: 100
  • Base Defense: 100
  • Location: No. 3 Wildlife Sanctuary

Orserk has the highest raw damage output among all the Electric-types in Palworld. Its unique Electric and Dragon-type combination gives it great type coverage, allowing it to maximize its damage output against most Pals. When it comes to Active Skills, Orserk has some of the most powerful Electric-type Skills in its arsenal, including a special skill called "Kerauno," which summons a powerful lightning bolt capable of pulverizing its targets.

Orserk's most potent skills are Spark Blast and Lightning Strike, as they deliver devastating Area of Effect (AoE) damage that can obliterate any enemies within its vicinity.

5 Anubis

Base Attack: 130, Full Attack: 2115

  • Element Type: Ground
  • Base HP: 120
  • Base Defense: 100
  • Location: Northeast of the Sealed realm of the Winged Tyrant

Anubis, named and modeled after the ancient Egyptian God of Death, has a lot to live up to, and it does not disappoint. This Ground-type Pal is shown as the Statue of Power in Palworld, which gives an idea of how powerful it is.

Palworld has plenty of adorable designs, but these Pals stand out above the rest.

Anubis excels in both offense and defense. And while it may not have the best type coverage, it has some of the best Ground-type Skills in the game, boasting a deadly mixture of Melee and Ranged attacks. Additionally, its Partner Skill imbues the player's attacks with Ground-type Damage, making them a lot stronger than usual. If the circumstances are right, Anubis can be an absolute nightmare for its opponents to deal with.

4 Necromus

Base Attack: 145, Full Attack: 2326

  • Element Type: Dark
  • Base HP: 130
  • Base Defense: 120
  • Location: Northwest of Deep Sand Dunes

Necromus is a Dark-type Pal that boasts the highest Attack stats in Palworld. However, a Pal's lethality isn't solely determined by its raw attack damage - there are a lot more factors to consider. But fortunately for Necromus, it has all other key attributes in spades as well. Not only does this Pal hit like a truck, but it also happens to be extremely agile, beating most other Ground Mounts in speed, thanks to its "Dark Knight of the Abyss" Partner Skill.

In addition to its offensive capabilities, Necromus also possesses great defense and a very useful skillset, having Dark, Fire, and Ground-type Active Skills. This makes Necromus a remarkably well-rounded Pal that performs well in all types of scenarios and particularly excels in combat.

3 Jormuntide Ignis

Base Attack: 130, Full Attack: 2115

Palworld - Feeding Jormuntide Ignis
  • Element Type: Fire and Dragon
  • Base HP: 130
  • Base Defense: 100
  • Location: No. 2 Wildlife Sanctuary

Jormuntide's volcanic counterpart, Jormuntide Ignis is the largest Pal in the game, and its appearance is far from superficial. It backs its monstrous physique with extremely impressive attributes. For starters, it has arguably the best type combination in the game, being both a Fire and Dragon-type. Its skillset is also particularly destructive, even including an Electric-type Skill called "Tri-Lightning" which gives it coverage against Water-types.

While Palworld actually doesn't have a ton of dual-type Pals in it, there are still some elemental combinations that are scary to go up against.

This makes Jormuntide Ignis a Pal that's purely designed for combat, as it can hold its own against virtually any opponent players may encounter.

2 Frostallion

Base Attack: 140, Full Attack: 2256

  • Element Type: Ice
  • Base HP: 140
  • Base Defense:120
  • Location: East of the Land of Absolute Zero

Frostallion stands undisputed as the most dangerous Ice-type Pal in Palworld. When it comes to pure damage output, Frostallion effortlessly leaves the other Ice-types in the dust with its incredible stats and deadly skillset. As the second-quickest Flying Mount in the game, only being beaten by Jetragon, Frostallion mostly serves as a ranged Pal. However, it's also surprisingly versatile in melee combat, having skills like Crystal Wing that tear through enemies.

While this Pal may not be attractive to beginner players, having such a powerful Ice-type can be extremely helpful during the late stages of the game when confronting the Dragon-type bosses.

1 Jetragon

Base Attack: 140, Full Attack: 2256

A screenshot from Palworld showing a player character petting a Jetragon.
  • Element Type: Dragon
  • Base HP: 110
  • Base Defense: 110
  • Location: Southwest Volcanic Island

In the game's current state, Jetragon easily claims the title of the deadliest Pal in Palworld. This Legendary Pal's stats are mind-blowing, leaving most of its peers behind in Attack, Defense, HP, and most notably, Speed. But what sets Jetragon apart from its competition is its exceptionally lethal skillset, with its Partner Skill allowing players to rain fire on enemies while flying in the air. Not much more needs to be said about this Pal - for players in pursuit of sheer lethality, there's no better choice than Jetragon.
