Summary
- Butchering Pals in Palworld can lead to unintended consequences, like a bizarre glitch that permanently pixellates the screen after butchering.
- Hilarious glitches continue to be found in Palworld, including Dinossom's spine stuck at a 90-degree angle and pixelated screens.
While butchering Pals can be a handy strategy in Palworld, one fan ran into a surprising consequence after doing so. The Palworld user experienced a bizarre glitch that caused most of their screen to become permanently pixelated after sacrificing one of their digital animals.
Recently, Palworld players have run into other strange glitches while playing the viral hit game. One fan shared a clip of Palworld's Dinossom stuck in a peculiar stance. The Pal's spine was bent at a 90-degree angle, switching between bending forward and backward, and apparently stayed that way for some time. The original poster did not share what caused the comedic glitch, but fans were quick to make jokes at the Pal's strange appearance. Now, it appears that Palworld fans have another glitch to check out.
Palworld Player Builds Incredibly Realistic Base
One dedicated Palworld player creates an incredibly realistic base, showing how far they can push the game's building mechanics.
Reddit user hiverkiya posted a clip to the Palworld subreddit that showcased their odd bug. Normally, Palworld temporarily pixelates the screen when a user is butchering one of their Pals. However, hiverkiya explained that after butchering a Pal in hopes of getting a Legendary schematic, the entire middle portion of their screen suddenly became permanently pixelated. The issue continued as they ran around the map and only stopped once they restarted their game. It's unclear what exactly caused the bug, but it clearly seems linked to butchering a Pal. Other fans jokingly poked fun at the user for receiving their due karma after taking part in Palworld's butchering mechanic, which might seem a bit brutal to some.
Palworld Player's Screen Becomes Permanently Pixelated
Back in January, another Palworld player ran into the same issue. Similarly, this user was also butchering Pals but only experienced the glitch after slaughtering about 100 of them. It appears there's a small chance of Palworld's pixelation feature becoming permanently stuck on a user's screen with each butchering of a Pal, but the user may need to butcher Pals in a certain way to trigger it.
The rare issue could be fixed in one of Palworld's future updates. To test out new updates and features early, PC fans can apply to join Palworld's recently announced Closed Testing group. The group requires members to have a working knowledge of Japanese and English and meet certain hardware requirements.
Palworld also announced a new Raid, which does not have a release date yet. The Raid's boss is the new Pal Bellanoir, who features a witch-like appearance and is presumably a tough enemy. Not much else is known about the anticipated update, but the Raid will likely give successful users valuable loot.
